5.00The driver from the hotel and the guide up the mountain was great! They knew English very well and understood how to make one feel safe. They were good at explaining what was going to happen and very patient! Even though the weather was really bad and the it was foggy as hell at the mountain it was still a good experience. The driver from base camp towards the mountain, was bad and very confusing, even confused out guide and driver. He looked at his phone more than he was looking at the road. He should also learn some basic English.

5.00Very well thought out excursion. Time is chosen so that you can reach the top before sunrise. Water is included, and there is breakfast before the ascent to the top of the volcano and at the top too. At the coffee plantation you can try all the variety of coffee and tea that are grown on the island. We enjoyed every minute of this tour!

5.00We had this trip planned through Rio Bali Tours. Rio planned and booked everything beforehand meticulously, so we don't need to worry about that part. The jeep drivers had extraordinary driving skills driving through the mountain terrain and were so welcoming and friendly. The adventure we had will stay in our memory forever and the view was breathtaking. Thanks to Rio and his team for making our journey a memorable one.

5.00I cannot describe how amazing this trip was!! It was so easy to book, they send a car directly to your place for pick up and drop off, they are so responsive to any questions you have and it’s very organized!! Once I got to the meet up spot, I got to have Bali coffee (much needed to help wake up since it’s a sunrise trek) and a banana pancake before beginning the journey! I went solo so I was put in a group of 7 people (including me and the tour guide) which was the perfect number, not too big or small, and I loved everyone I hiked with! One of the reasons I love traveling is meeting amazing people from all over the world and to experience such a beautiful sunrise and to be in a supportive (it was a little strenuous at some points - all part of the fun!) and fun group was so heartwarming. The view was INCREDIBLE. It was the first sunrise hike I’ve been on so it’s hard to wake up so early it’s SO WORTH IT. I went because I heard so many great stories of how amazing the experience was and it did not disappoint. I was very proud of myself at the end of the day and I would 100% do it again!! Thank you so much for this beautiful experiences!!
