Your Bromo adventure begins with a comfortable midnight pickup from your hotel in Malang or Surabaya. Our friendly driver, wearing a Batik shirt, will meet you at 12:00 AM. Please be ready 10 minutes early for a smooth start. We’ll drive 2–3 hours to Bromo, depending on your location. Relax or nap in the air conditioned vehicle. Once near Bromo, you'll switch to a private 4WD jeep for the journey up to the sunrise viewpoint.
Gunung Penanjakan
At approximately 03:00 AM, we’ll arrive at the base area near the Penanjakan Viewpoint. and enjoy a warm break at a local warung (café), with options for tea, coffee, and light snacks while waiting for the sunrise. Relax and adjust to the cool mountain air before heading to the viewpoint.

5.00Java Quest made our Bromo Sunrise trip totally effortless even though the view was cloudy. They arranged everything, including entrance tickets, jeep, breakfast, and amenities! Our guide was fun and full of stories about the local culture. Comfortable and nice car also great communication from the driver super friendly. Five stars!

5.00We went to Bromo and the tea plantation with Java Quest and had the best time. Everything was perfectly planned, from pick up to drop off. The driver was so friendly and drove carefully. We just sat back, relaxed and enjoyed Indonesia’s beauty. We enjoyed authentic Indonesian food that we could choose ourselves. The guide and driver explained the menu very well. Definitely booking with them again for another trip!

5.00This tour was amazing! Watching the sunrise over Mount Bromo was unforgettable, and the whole experience was hassle free. Our guide was fantastic, explaining the local culture and history. The jeep ride and crater hike were exciting but not too difficult. Definitely worth the early wake up!

5.00This tour was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. From the wild jeep ride in the dark to watching the sun rise over the mountains, it felt surreal. It was cold, dusty, and yes early but totally worth every second. The logistics were handled perfectly. I didn’t have to worry about anything, just enjoy the moment. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

5.00Really enjoyed seeing the sunrise and walking along the crater, such a unique place. Our guide Anrico was excellent, super friendly and explained everything clearly. He made sure we could take our time and enjoy the trip at our own pace, which made it really relaxing. He speaks great English too, so communication was easy throughout. All in all, a smooth and memorable experience!

5.00The weather was perfect and the view at sunrise was absolutely beautiful. The tour was smooth and well organized from the hotel pick up in Batu all the way to the summit and back. Yoga was a cheerful and helpful guide who made the whole day even more enjoyable. It wasn’t just the scenery that made it special the whole experience felt easy and relaxed. A great memory!

5.00We did the tour with Rico and Richard, and everything went so smoothly. Rico was an excellent guide, friendly, knowledgeable, and he brought us to an amazing sunrise spot. He answered all our questions and really made us feel taken care of. Richard was a great driver, calm and steady throughout the trip. The whole tour was well organized and communication was easy from the start. We’d definitely book with Java Quest again. Thanks to both of them for a fantastic day!

5.00This was our second tour with them and once again, everything was spot on. Our guide was an absolute gem calm, fun, and always knew just where to go and when. Richard handled the drive like a pro, even through the trickier parts. The whole trip felt smooth, unhurried, and just really well planned. We got so many great photos, we’re struggling to pick our favourites! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
