Aoraki / Mount Cook was named the cloud piercer by Máori. You’ll see for yourself on this flight over the Ben Ohau mountain range and peaks of the Southern Alps that surround this storied mountain. Your helicopter will manoeuvre you to an alpine vantage point where it’s safe for an alpine landing and time to take it all in.

5.00Our initial helicopter hike was canceled due to high winds. Everyone was so helpful and rescheduling us on a similar adventure two additional times. Theywere quick to provide our refunds and explained our options. Once we finally got to do our adventure up to the glacier, everyone was wonderful. The pilot was great and the experience was fantastic. We will definitely recommend using this same company two friends that will be coming over here

5.00Great customer service and amazing first helicopter ride! We were originally booked on a heli hike but had to switch multiple times due to weather. But the employees were really accommodating and rescheduled us for another time that worked. After 3 reschedules we finally got to take a ride in one of their newest helicopters and it ended up being a private ride! We even got to take home a photo. Thanks so much for making this experience happen for us!

5.00It was great. We were lucky with the weather and just 4 guests instead of 6 in the helicopter. Because the helicopter company is quite close to Mt Cook you have plenty of time to cirkel the summits and gletsjers.

1.00Pathetic experience! Our ride got delayed on the first day and got rescheduled for the next day. We waited for 4 hours and same was cancelled again due to operational issues and weather conditions.

5.00Professional organization. Staff are friendly and helpful. The helicopter ride was fantastic. The pilot explains during the flight. We had plenty of time to take pictures on the snowfield. Highly recommended.

Bad customer service and lack of communication

1.00My kids were so excited for this first-time experience, but the delay and poor customer service turned it into the worst experience we’ve ever had. We booked for a family of four with a 9 am start and were told to call one hour prior to confirm. At 8 am I was assured the flight was going ahead and asked to be at the meeting point by 8:30. The weather was fine—sunny despite the previous night’s snow. However, on arrival we were told the flight was delayed and asked to stay on standby. This dragged on until 11 am, with no clear communication. During this time we saw other helicopter flights depart and land with passengers. Each time we checked at reception, we were given a different explanation. While delays can happen, what made this unacceptable was: a) being given conflicting reasons each time we asked, and b) watching other flights go ahead, which made us feel like second-class customers.

5.00Truly an amazing flight--a must do if you're touring NZ and want to really appreciate the beauty. The pilot was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable about the land.
