Lake Kawaguchiko
Lake Kawaguchiko's history is defined by Mt. Fuji's volcanic activity, notably the 864 Jogan Eruption that formed it and the surrounding Fuji Five Lakes by blocking rivers with lava, creating a landscape rich in volcanic rock and unique folklore like the Benzaiten shrine on Unoshima Island. 5.00Best experience. First time visitors we had our mother, using a wheelchair. Fariq allowed us to experience the 360+ steps to the Mt. Fuji Observation Deck with the path lined with Cherry Blossom Trees, while our mom explored some of the little pop—up shops at the bottom. I don’t think I would have felt confident navigating ourselves with limited time here in Japan, this was a perfect way to see so much! 1. Arakurayama Sengen Park Observatory - 300+ steps to observatory for views of Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms 2. Lake Kawaguchi- nice views of Mt. Fuji, Lake, Bridge, Cherry Blossoms. Destination for wedding photos. 3. Kitaguchi Shrine - Shinto Shrine. Wash hands for good luck. Love Tree. 4. Oshino Hakai Village in Shibokusa souvenir shopping, eating Mt Fuji apples, water View of river, Mt. Fuji, Koi ponds

5.00Fariq our guide was very accommodating. He considered our interests but also gave suggestions since we really didn’t know where we wanted to go. We just wanted to see Mt.Fuji and the cherry blossoms. He took us to several places like the Lake Kawaguchi and Oishino Hakai (with beautiful ponds, Mt. Fuji in the backdrop, eateries and shopping. We had to leave at 5:30 AM from our Hotel “Gracery” in order to heat the traffic and the clouds, and it was worth it! When you don’t really know where you are going and it’s your first time here, it’s very comfortable and so much more convenient to have someone driving you around and taking you to the sites. In addition, we have our 90-year mother with us and her wheelchair. This private tour made it very convenient to sitesee.

5.00Wonderful day visiting Mt. Fuji and vicinity. It was a great tour with Faiq who was a great guide and driver. Perfect for our family as we have our elderly mother who uses a wheelchair.

5.00Faiq was a fantastic guide. He recommended we head out at 5:30am instead of the originally scheduled time 7am, and it made a huge difference in avoiding traffic, crowds, and seeing Mt Fuji clearly before the afternoon clouds rolled in. We were able to see all 4 viewpoints before noon without feeling rushed or overcrowded. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a Mt Fuji day trip.
