Depart from Tokyo by bus and arrive at Kawaguchiko Oishi Park where you can capture beautiful photos with lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji in the background. Continue to Arakura Sengen Park, located halfway up Mount Arakura in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi Prefecture. Take in the panoramic views of the city with Mount Fuji in the background and admire the cherry blossoms in Spring.

After that will be Oshino Hakkai, one of the most famous spots in the Fujisan area. You can see the 8 different lakes located there and taste the water from Mount Fuji. The last spot you will go to 5th Station (half way) of Mount Fuji, which is 2300m high. You can enjoy some special food or buy unique souvenirs here, with very close view of top of Mount Fuji. In winter, we will go to 4th Station/Mt. Fuji 1st Station or Yamanakako Hananomiyako park to see the diamond fuji sunset view instead.

What To Expect

Oishi Park

Oishi Park on the north shore of Kawaguchiko is a park with a superb view of lake and Mt.Fuji at once. Various flowers bloom on the promenade along the lakeside according to the season. On a sunny day, there are many photographers who take pictures of Mt. Fuji, lake and flowers from early morning.

Arakurayama Sengen Park

The park begins at the base of Mt. Arakurayama and extends up the mountain. At the top of a 398 stair hike is an observation deck that looks out over the cityscape of Fujiyoshida City and majestic Mt. Fuji towering above. Though the Spring sakura (cherry blossom) season is best for capturing the symbolic image of Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms and five-storied pagoda, the park can be enjoyed throughout the year with a stunning view that changes with the seasons.

This is a good way to visit Mount Fuji and several places around it in 1 day. We did it with our three children.

Amazing tour, I dont normally write reviews but this tour was so good I had to. Perfect amount of time at each four spots to see the sights and not feel rushed, at first I was worried about timing but they planned it perfectly and we had more time at each stop than expected. Our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure we saw Mount Fuji when there was a gap between clouds we pulled over for pictures even too. Great stories and recommendations for each stop too

Sheila did an outstanding job taking as and guiding us to Mt. Fuji. The beautiful lake and gardens blooming with flowers were amazing. The 5th station was so incredible. Seeing the mountain so close was awe inspiring.

Trip was very well planned and on time. Sophie was very good in her role and gave lot of good tips and guidance through out the trip which was helpful and clear to follow. Will look for the next activity to do together.
