Depart from Tokyo by bus and arrive at Kawaguchiko Oishi Park where you can capture beautiful photos with lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji in the background. Continue to Arakura Sengen Park, located halfway up Mount Arakura in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi Prefecture. Take in the panoramic views of the city with Mount Fuji in the background and admire the cherry blossoms in Spring.
After that will be Oshino Hakkai, one of the most famous spots in the Fujisan area. You can see the 8 different lakes located there and taste the water from Mount Fuji. The last spot you will go to 5th Station (half way) of Mount Fuji, which is 2300m high. You can enjoy some special food or buy unique souvenirs here, with very close view of top of Mount Fuji. In winter, we will go to 4th Station/Mt. Fuji 1st Station or Yamanakako Hananomiyako park to see the diamond fuji sunset view instead.

1.0Firstly I’ll start by saying that I’m confident this would’ve been an amazing experience considering the locations you would be visiting, but this tour operator alongside Viator have left me in a messy situation where I was waiting in the location I was told to wait in and they failed to pick me up. I even tried to communicate with them before the 8am start time and advised them of where I am, but no one was responding to me. I even immediately after 8am continued to try and reach them, even by phone and I had no luck, until 8:20 where I was told randomly by a WhatsApp message that my meeting place is at Stop 13. I went down there and then got another message saying the tour has started and we’ve missed it. This tour operator has been so unhelpful and deceitful and Viator are going along with it and won’t either reschedule me without paying a penalty fee or refunding me my tour that they made me miss because of their unclear instructions. What I had on my ticket and on the Viator app apparently is different to what it says on the website. Go figure, I’m the one travelling on the road in Tokyo with the confirmed documents from Viator and yet I’m wrong. I’ve used Viator for years and have never had anything negative to say until today. I’ll never use Viator again for the complete lack of help and I would recommend anyone look at another tour operator for this itinerary. I made the mistake of booking them, don’t you make that same error.

5.0It was a really good tour--fun guide who spoke very good English, everything on time and of course great viewing of Mount Fuji. Would highly recommend it.

5.0The fifth place was open and we got some really good pictures at the other parks of Mt. Fuji. The tour guide taught us how to pray at the shrine which is very unique in Japan.
