Pick up from your hotel 4:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. Then in our Transportation we will go the southern route of Cusco for 1 hour and a half and it crosses many colorful colonial cities before arriving at the district of Cusipata, where it is time to have breakfast and get energy for the coming trek. The trailhead is about an hour away, called Chilliwani 4,600m / 15 160ft. This is the warm-up place for our physical activity during the day. Finally, with each step closer to the top, the mountains become aesthetically perfect. A new day, the natural magic of this hidden treasure exposes its treasures in full bloom, ancient and traditional local people, llamas, alpacas, wild vicuñas, allow you to enter their secret world. The condors surround their beauty and complement other birds of the highlands. The hours of our ascent our reward is waiting for attention, the top of VINICUNCA is at 5100 m - 16700 feet. Stunning views of the Vilcanota mountain range. Also presenting the highest glacier in Cusco Ausangate 6 375 m 20,900 feet, you will have plenty of time to recover while enjoying your snack, taking photos and breathing the fresh air of the Andes. Upon our return we will have a well-deserved lunch, and then return to Cusco at approximately 18hrs.

Had such a good time on this tour, the views are amazing, the food is good and I found the walk up to the top very manageable, even with the altitude. What really made it a great tour though was Marco, our guide, who was so knowledgeable, kind and funny - our driver was also lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering rainbow mountain!

Ee booked the tour with our hostel and for 30€ it was absolutley worth it. Our guide marco antonio was very helpfoul an had such good authentic vibes. Incredible. Recomendation.

The journey to the mountain of colors was great! We enjoyed every part of it. I am not going to lie we did have a difficult time due to the oxygen limitation but our tour guide was the best, very attentive in every way possible in order for us to complete the mission! Climbing to the top was very gratifying in every sense and it made every minute worth it.
