The trip was excellent. It took us to all places promised. Our guide was great. He always had fun facts to add that would make us remember this adventure. He went out of his way to help everyone. He made the trip more enjoyable by his smiling face. He made sure no one was left behind. He was great.

It was a great experience to see Mount Fuji as the weather was good and ride the cable cards. The ship was very crowded. So a first class ticket would be better regarding space. Our tour guide Yui was amazing, and very knowledgeable!

What came as a surprise to us was how we would get back to our hotel after we were given a bullet train ticket to return to Tokyo Station. No one came into the station with us to ensure we would get on the right bullet train or gave us instructions on how to use the ticket. After taking the bullet train to Tokyo Station, we were on our own to get back to our hotels. The tour operator did not return us to the LOVE sculpture where we started nor did they have anyone at Tokyo Station to help us take trains to Shinjuku or any other stations closer to our hotels. Tokyo Station is about 7 miles from the LOVE statue. We took this tour partially because we did not want to navigate the very complicated and very busy train stations in Tokyo as this was our first time in Tokyo. We ended up taking a very expensive taxi ride. This tour would be much better if they had a bus waiting for us at the Tokyo bullet train station to take us back to the LOVE statue or someone at the station to direct us on how to buy a return to Shinjuku. It was a poor ending to the tour that wasn’t made clear in the description. We felt abandoned.. Unfortunately, the weather was overcast, rainy and cold so we never saw Mt. Fuji either but that was out of their control. I also have to mention that the tour guide recommended a restaurant chain named “Kuru” for a good meal. It is novel because it has a sushi belt that you can grab items you want but the sushi quality is mediocre at best. There are only a few items for non-sushi eaters. It is cheap and fast though, once you figure out the system for taking a number and ordering.
