Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals.
Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine
Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, also known as Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings. The location offers spectacular views of Mount Fuji in combination with the pagoda. The spot is particularly popular among photographers as it allows for some wonderfully stereotypical shots of Japan.

1.00I probably should have researched this a bit more. This driver is just a driver not a tour guide. If you don't recommend areas of interest they will take you to areas or their choice and not advise what to do or expect, you just have to figure it out. The driver did not talk to use unless we spoke and asked questions. Driving was very rough and had ear buds in one ear listening to his music while the rest of the car was quiet. The driver was also watching tik tok live, playing video games while driving, smoking at every break we took and we would end up waiting on him. Honestly this was a waste of money and huge mistake.

5.00Really enjoyed our day trip from Tokyo. Ken provided door to door service from our hotel and took us to great locations with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. Luckily we had sunny skies which made for some great family photos. We had a stress free excursion and one of the more memorable days in Japan.

5.00Aki is an excellent tour guide. He made sure our day tour is worth. Since mt fuji was not visible because of the clouds, he found an alternative way to enjoy our trip. He was very knowledgeable, too. Our trip was never dull because of him. He is highly recommended.

5.00Wonderful tour of Mt. Fuji area. Uta was an excellent guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave great suggestions and options for the day. In addition to the park with a great view, we enjoyed an ice cave, boat ride and shrine. Excellent lunch stop as well. We were fortunate to have clear skies and great views of Mt. Fuji.
