1.00Firstly, the guide Anna was great but the entire excursion was badly organized. Was told to the tour starts at Lucerne at 10:15am. And to check in 15/20 mins before departure. No guide showed up. This is supposed to be a small tour group! Eventually I found 2 others fellow travelers, otherwise all 3 of us would not have waited. The guide showed up 40 mins late eventually. She said she was late because she was told to meet another group in Basel at 10:15am! And we are supposed to meet at Lucerne also 10:15am! What a mess! All the organizer said is that I need to be flexible!!!! Seriously! I paid more for this trip because it’s a smaller group. All the organizer said is to be flexible! I’m 1 hr behind my schedule all day! Disappointed. Another issue! I assumed that the tour operator will provide bus ticket from train station to Kriens the base station for cable car. Guess what! Bus ticket is not included in Lucerne.

1.00The guide never showed up. There was no tour. The staff at Lucerne Tourist Information centre tried to help us and contact the company offering the tour ‘ Tours of Switzerland’ but the phone number we were given was no longer in service and the Tourist Centre said they were not registered with them. I am waiting for a refund from Viator.

5.00Don’t worry about weather! It changes by the minute in the mountains! Well worth the money. Our guide (Anna) was very knowledgeable, fluent in several languages, full of energy!

5.00Amazing views of the mountains and lakes. Several opportunities to climb and descend the mountain via different methods of cable cars and trains. Also a leisurely boat ride to start its trip.

5.00This was a very enjoyable experience and our guide was very informative, we were disappointed with the cloud cover but that is nature. Ana our guide was excellent and very knowledgable.
