5.00Great tour, our guide Nikky was awesome. Amazing views! There was a bit of walking some uphill so if you have issues just be aware. But definitely worth it!

5.00Super friendly Nikki did a great job via our reservation with Viator. The trip to the Lucerne lake and to mount Pilatus was smooth. You do need to have a free bus ticket from your hotel to take bus 1 to the mountain base. Buses are free in Switzerland areas from your hotel. The meeting place is inside the train station next to platform 7. Easy.

3.00The experience was quite expensive. We thought we would get door-to-door service to mount Pilatus on a private coach or Van. However, we were shocked to learn when we found out that the transportation would be by public bus, which we had to provide our own ticket. We were not notified about this ahead of time and had to spend another Swiss Fr.20 for our bus transportation, which we did not get reimbursed. Additionally, there were not enough headsets to go around for all of the people on the tour, so some people got to hear the commentary while others did not. The reminder email received from Viator gave us a meeting place just outside the train station. As it turned out, however, we were supposed to meet inside the train station on platform seven. Apparently there were other people also confused about the meeting spot which led to the tour leaving a half hour late. It’s a shame really that the trip started off so poorly because Mount Pilatus itself was beautiful and the lake cruise was amazing. However, you can probably do this on your own for a lot less money.
