Our accent to Mount Pilatus will take us aboard the iconic “dragon ride” aerial cable cart, where we will float back to earth suspended in a giant glass cabin. The windowed walls provide 360 views of the Lucerne region, and many compare the experience to flying. 5.00We had Michelle as our guide on an amazingly beautiful Fall day! We met at the train station, super easy. Rode the train and took the cogwheel up top. Had time to walk around and eat. Then back down, onto the train, and onto the boat ride of Lake Lucerne. It could hardly have been more breathtaking. The Alps are incredible. Michelle did a great job explaining many different aspects of the locations and was very personable. A very pleasant person to spend a few hours with. I would highly recommend this tour and Michelle!

4.00I’d like to give 3 stars for the trip, 2 stars for the price, and 5 stars for the guide. The actual trip wasn’t as described. We didn’t go up the cable car up the mountain and take a hike. We took a train to the cogwheel. Went up and down the cogwheel and was only up top for about 30 minutes it was enough time to scurry up top, snap quick pictures, and scurry back to the meeting point. I wish we had had about 2 hours up top. Once up top, we were turned loose to look around on our own. You don’t find out the cable car is closed until you’re on the trip. Our guide was excellent and very sweet. Willing to answer any and all questions. Her accent was easy to understand. The Alps are breathtaking.

4.00Same as I do, because when I booked this tour I asked several times about gundola , & every time I been told in positive but at time of ride the operato told us that gondola is closed for maintenance, I would like to get a part of the ticket to be refunded.
Never use Viator! Use tours of Switzerland for excellent service

5.00We were booked on a Viator tour. The tour guide didn’t show up! At the last minute tours of Switzerland put us on a tour to Mt pilatus. Leighton was our tour guide. He was fantastic!! Thank you Leighton

5.00Leighton was our guide and he facilitated the best Mt Pilatus and Lake Lucerne tour. We had fun as we learned the history of the area and enjoyed the sights. We were for fortunate to experience snow at the top of the mountain. As Floridians, this was one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00Our tour guide Leighton was incredible; he is very well versed in Swiss history, politics, and culture. Taking us up to Mt. Pilatus was an unforgettable experience that I will highly recommend anybody looking for a tour of Lucerne and its many sights to see!

5.00Leighton was our tour guide and he did a great job at bringing in the history of the area while showing us the natural beauty of Mt. Pilatus and Lake Lucerne. We were fortunate to experience snow at the top of Pilatus and enjoyed the cogwheel train. Overall, a wonderful experience in Switzerland.
