- Inner Seoraksan; Sogongwon Park - Upon arrival, you will ride the Seorak cable car to Gweongumsung Peak (670m above sea level), which provides views of Inner Mt. Seorak, Ulsnbawi rock, and the East Sea. Located about 5 minutes from the entrance is the cable car ride. The ride itself is ten minutes long and displays heavenly views of the park and mountains.
Sinheungsa Temple is a short 10-minute walk away from the entrance to Sogongwon. In fact, many visit because of its close proximity to Sogongwon. You also can see a local landmark such as the 33-foot-high bronze Buddha statue at Shinheungsa temple.

5.00We really had a great time going to Mt Seoraksan especially with Lee Jay touring us around. He was very friendly and even went beyond by bringing us to a seafood restaurant and explore some other places that are not included in our package. He is very kind and even helped us in many ways. I highly recommend him.

5.00Our guide (sorry I can’t write his name) was very nice, speaks English very well, and has a lot of knowledge about Seorak mountain and about budism, so you learn also a Little about the meaning of the temples there. Thank you so much!!
