Culture

Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine, a part of Mt.Fuji World Heritage. This shrine was revered for its divine virtue of quelling the eruption of Mt. Fuji, and as faith in Mt. Fuji spread, it came to be known as the head shrine of the more than 1,300 Sengen shrines enshrined throughout the country.

Note: Though the capacity of a sedan taxi is 3 guests + a guide, we recommend this tour for up to 2 guests + a guide. It is small for 3 big people to sit in the rear seat. In this case, we recommend to choose our van taxi tour.

This tour is for cruise ship passengers (who can spend 5 hours for private shore excursion) at Shimizu Port. The tour starts from Shimizu Port and finish at Shimizu Port.

Though the capacity of a sedan taxi is up to 3 guests + a guide, we recommend this sedan taxi tour for up to 2 guests + a guide. It is too small for 3 big people to sit in the rear seat. In this case, we highly recommend to choose our van taxi tour instead of sedan taxi tour.

We took a private tour from Shimizu port to Shiraito Falls, Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine and Miho no Matsubara. We had an excellent guide in Hero and an equally excellent driver in Ted. Both were looking after my mother, who has a difficulty walking and went out of their way to make her comfortable including renting a wheelchair for her at both the falls and the temple. They were also very knowledgeable about the history and customs of the area. We learned a lot about the goddess of Mt Fuji, the springs at the temple and about Shimizu in general. But what made our trip the most exceptional were not the beautiful sights or the good weather but the kindness and consideration we received from both of them. We were treated more like friends than customers. We would take a trip with either or both of them at any time. We had a great day which we will not forget I would also like to thank Mr Hirokane Ishikake who made very good suggestions about what trip to book and what to see, paying special attention to my mothers walking problem and creating a special tour for us. We give the whole company 10 of 10 points! Arigato gozaimasu😊

Can not say enough good about our Guide, Mr. Hero. He was remarkably welcoming, kind, informed and accommodating (as was our driver, Mr Saturo). Hero's command of the English language was incredible, and his pronunciation/accent so very good. We were lucky with weather and had beautiful views of Mt Fuji for the better part of the day. The Tanuki Lake was beautiful and peaceful, with Mt Fuji in the background, and the "White Threads Waterfalls" were sooo beautiful (complete with a hovering rainbow the entire time we were there). If you are in the Shimizu area, we would highly encourage you to seek out Mr. Hero as your guide - he made it an experience that significantly exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Had the best service from Hirokane when going through the booking process and everything was perfect and as described. Our tour guide was very friendly and would do anything for you and a great driver and vehicle too. This was a great route and got to see some beautiful countryside. Totally recommend this trip and also the company, not one issue from start to finish and went over and above

Our tour guide was Roger and we were met as arranged,once disembarked from our cruise ship - very easy! The tour was as booked and Roger and the excellent driver went out of their way to enhance our experience. We saw some fabulous views of Mount Fuji and as a bonus we experienced a local celebration and street procession. Delivered back to port safely and at the correct time. Thank you - I would recommend this tour company.
