  If you want to see the Great Wall in its most romantic season, go with Mubus in spring. The hills were embroidered with wild peach, plum, and even some early azaleas. Kevin is the best guide I’ve met in China. He speaks English with such fluency that he could be a professor. He taught us how to identify different Ming-era brickwork and explained the logistics of supplying the Wall’s garrisons. His warmth—offering sunscreen, checking on tired hikers—was touching. Mubus’s schedule was efficient: we had 4.5 hours on the Wall. I’ll absolutely recommend Kevin and Mubus to any English-speaking traveler.

His enthusiasm is genuine—he helped take photos of everyone against the floral backdrop. Mubus’s organization was flawless: easy online booking, punctual departure, and a clean bus.   The combination of Mutianyu’s ancient grandeur and spring blossoms is unbeatable. I went with Mubus in late April, and the hills were a patchwork of pale pink and fresh green. Kevin’s knowledge is deep—he explained how the Wall’s construction adapted to seasonal weather, and he pointed out medicinal plants blooming along the path. His English is so natural that even complex terms like “parapet” and “crenellation” were easy to understand. Mubus’s timing allowed us to enjoy a full three hours on the Wall before lunch crowds arrived. The staff even provided small snacks. I’ll recommend this trip to anyone visiting Beijing.

  Kevin exceeded all my expectations. He speaks English fluently and has a natural gift for making people laugh. He shared stories about the Great Wall that were both educational and entertaining.   Our Mutianyu tour arranged by Mubus with guide John, and every detail was impeccable! John offered exclusive personalized introductions instead of rushed loud group speeches, letting us dive deep into the wall’s architecture and folklore. It's the Qingming Festival in China now, so there are quite a lot of tourists. It’s the Qingming Festival holiday in China, so the mountain is pretty crowded overall. Luckily, the queue for the West Route cable car wasn’t too bad. All in all, John did a great job, his calm manner and rich local insights elevated the entire travel standard greatly. Meticulous, sophisticated and warm-hearted, John crafted a peaceful premium Great Wall journey full of exclusive comforts and profound cultural discoveries easily.

  What a breathtaking spring sight! Mutianyu’s watchtowers stood above swirling seas of apricot and pear blossoms. Mubus’s itinerary was spot on—we left Beijing at 7:30 am, avoided traffic, and arrived as the morning light softened the petals. Kevin is a gem. His English is crisp, and he doesn’t just recite dates; he weaves tales of emperors, invaders, and the laborers who built the Wall. He also gave excellent advice on which sections to climb for the best floral views. The Mubus crew greeted us with smiles and clear instructions. I’ve already texted three friends: “Use Mubus and ask for Kevin!”
