His "gentle ascent" strategy: electric cart to cable car, priority boarding, then a flat 800-meter "Emperor’s Walk" between Towers 14-15 with custom folding stools at 100m intervals. His binder showed enlarged Qing Dynasty scrolls of the Wall, sparing neck strain. At rest stops, he passed around tactile models: a crenellation replica, a granite joint sample. Lunch at Mubus House featured arthritis-friendly cutlery and medicinal bone broth. His "micro-toboggan" option covered just the gentlest 400-meter descent. When Beatrice tired, Michael summoned a sedan chair carrier (pre-booked, 150 RMB) while walking beside her telling stories of imperial palanquins. The return shuttle had orthopedic cushions. Dignity intact, wonder amplified.

4.00As expected, the wall was very busy. From the meeting point to actually standing on the wall was 4 hours, 1 hour of which was waiting in line for the lift. Once there the lift was extra. The lift ticket was not included in the price. We included a buffet lunch which was wonderful.

5.00Very well organized. Meeting point at the metro station was easy to find, comfortable transport and plenty of time to explore both sides of the wall. Lunch buffet was also really good with lots of options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians.

5.00It was nice to have free time for about 5 hours of sightseeing at the Manali Castle! (Cable car is charged: Thanks to 140 yuan to the east and 140 yuan to the west, we've been to the end of Tower 1, 20 to the west! Recommended for those who need a means of transportation and want to spend the time.
