The 80 miles of the Columbia River Gorge’s steep rocky sides offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the world: pounding waterfalls, eagles, century-old trees, ferns, flowers, ancient rocks. This half-day of exploring and meditating on wonders with very short hikes and visits to overlooks and vistas will have you gasping in awe.

We'll visit waterfalls and overlooks, selected by our guides to include both the most iconic, like the unmissable Latourell Falls, a stunning plunge-style falls that is one of the most iconic in Oregon, and the special. Depending on weather conditions, this could include a few small hidden waterfalls and another spectacular plunge-style falls with columnar basalt.

We'll also tell you stories, not just of the geology and botany and the oft-repeated tales of pioneers and road-builders, but also the old stories we've learned, of gods and animal spirits and the Beaver princess tragically turned into a waterfall.

This tour is a must!! It was great having a guided tour and our guide, Ana was amazing and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The waterfalls were absolutely breathtaking!! 10/10 recommend!!

We left right on time and made our way to the gorge. Along the way, Anna did a great job talking about the city, landmarks, and then the ancient history of the gorge. It was lovely hearing about the floods and the river, and set up the waterfalls and their majesty. The timing was spot on throughout, with additional details and history of the area and falls, and Anna was personable and friendly all day. Even gave us a recommendation for coffee after. Five stars!

The waterfall tour was terrific I learned a lot about Portland , waterfall creation , ice age and so much more as our guide ( Ahna ) was amazing so knowledgeable, fun and the prefect guide … definitely recommend this tour group to anyone wanting to see the Gorge …it’s a must do tour !
