5.00Aziz did a wonderful tour. We went to the Grande Mosque which was amazing. Then the Opera House where there was a guide to tell us the history & how the stages could be adapted for various types of concerts. He took us to the souq, the Al Alarm Palace & showed us the forts. I would definitely recommend Aziz.

1.00UNA TRUFFA - A COMPLETE SCAM The guide wasn't a guide, and barely managed to express himself. We didn't' get any explanation about anything we saw and we had to read on wikipedia by ourselves. The Mutrah Souq was completely closed and we have just been abandoned in a dodgy place We barely saw the other three places (Al alam Palace, Al Jalall fort, Al mirani Fort) from the car with the """GUIDE""" just pointing at it We didn't see AT ALL the Balt al Zubair museum EVEN THOUGH there was explicitly written that we would have see 'the exhibition of oman culture' We just saw the Royal opera house, of course just from the outside EVEN THOUGH there was explicitly written that we could have enter and see the interior The """customer service""" didn't actually help, they just fed me some excuses like but they kept my money not even offering a partial refund, even though I did not even get half of the service I paid for. Just disgusting.

5.00Spent an enjoyable day viewing the sights of Muscat. Our guide was helpful, knowledge and kind. At our request, he found time to bring us to a traditional Omani sweets/coffee shop - delicious! Only thing we didn't get to see was the inside of the opera house. We arrived before it opened, and I was hoping we'd have time to circle back but we did not.
