The full-day tour in My Son and Marble Mountains lets you discover with the old Cham towers and shrines built over 1400 years ago and a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngũ Hành Sơn District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).

The Marble Mountains

The five limestone hills that make up Vietnam’s famed Marble Mountains are each named after one of the five elements: fire (Hoa), wood (Moc), metal (Kim), water (Thuy) and earth (Tho). And while their shadowy caves and hidden tunnels draw thousands of travelers to wander this destination each year, its proximity to beautiful and ancient Buddhist and Hindu grottoes and access to a stunning summit are other reasons to make the voyage.

Full day, full experience. From the My Son Sanctuary to the Marble Mountains, topped off by the Lady Buddha, we learned a lot, marveled at the ingenuity of humans, the beauty of the countryside and mountains outside Hoi An, and then beaches of Da Nang . Our guide Thanh was knowledgeable, responsive, and easy going.

Our guide Henry provided extremely informative and engaging insights throughout the tour. He shared a wealth of knowledge not only about My Son and the Marble Mountains, but also about Vietnam and Hoi An in general. He thoughtfully answered all of our questions on a wide range of topics, including Vietnamese history, language, geography, and religion—and even treated us to local ghost stories from Hoi An. The full day tour was incredible. Our guide Thanh, a local to Hoi A was extremely knowledgeable about everything and shared a plethora of history with us. I would recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Our tour to My Son Sanctuary and marble mountain was such a wonderful experience! The place itself is breathtaking, but what truly made the trip special was our tour guide. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. The guide explained everything in a clear and engaging way, answered all our questions, and even pointed out details we wouldn’t have noticed on our own.

Henry was such an amazing guide and he was so knowledgeable! Our driver was excellent also. We did the tour at our own pace and saw amazing sights. Loved it!

My son was very much like Ankar in cambodia. Lovely setting but marble mountain was poor and rushed . You would be better going yourselves and getting audio in my son and visiting marble mountain by yourselves.
