If you are an avid lover of ancient history than My Son Sanctuary is a must see! It was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa (known as Cham people, today) would make sacrifices to the Gods.Built between the 4th – 13th century A.D., this famous architectural complex of the Cham was built to worship the god Shiva. My Son was recognised as a world cultural heritage site in 1999 by UNESCO.
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel by car for the drive to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, which takes about 1 hour.
Upon arrival, the guide will spend approximately 2 hours explaining the techniques used to build the temples and details about Champa culture.
After the tour, you will drive back to your hotel, which takes about 1 hour. The tour ends upon your return."

My Son Sanctuary
If you are an avid lover of ancient history, then Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is a must-see! Located in the upper area of the Thu Bồn River, near Đà Nẵng City and about 20 km west of Trà Kiệu Citadel, Mỹ Sơn is a cluster of Hindu temples in Duy Phú Commune, Duy Xuyên District. Once a sacred site for the Cham people (known today as Cham), it was used for making sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this renowned architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Our guide will provide insights into Cham history and their Hindu worship practices. Additionally, you will have the chance to watch a traditional Cham dance performance. Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999, Mỹ Sơn is a fascinating destination.

4.00We did an early morning tour, but still very hot and quite busy. Our guide was very kind and friendly and helpful and quite informative about the history of the site.

5.00We had a wonderful trip to My Son Sanctuary with Tai. He was full of information and was able to answer all questions we asked of him. The sanctuary itself is beautiful and the preservation works are incredible. We did have hotel pick up from Hoi An at 0700 and would recommend this or earlier - the site was empty while we were there and we didn’t have to deal with the heat of the afternoon sun (although it was still quite hot!!). Would recommend this tour.

5.00We firstly booked this trip and Tai suggested we leave earlier to beat the crowds, we almost had the whole place to ourselves. Capturing photos without the crowds was perfect. Tai took the time to explain everything to us and made sure we understood , he took photos for us, Nothing was too much trouble. The car was clean, we had the opportunity to have cold water and iced towels. Thank you Tai & the careful driver for making our day a very memorable one

5.00Our private half day tour of My Son Sanctuary with our guide Tina was excellent. Tina had so much information to share and we also enjoyed hearing about her day to day life in the area. Our pick up time was 0700 hrs and this allowed us to get to My Son before it started getting very busy at around 0930-1000 hrs. The cultural performance (music and dance) outdoors at 0900 was beautiful.

5.00This was a lovely tour! We arranged with Tai, our guide to be picked up in Da Nang which was very helpful for us! The tour was beautiful, and very insightful. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Hoi An to make time to do this tour! And go early before the crowds get there, it worked out great for us!

5.00Incredible experience; an absolute must do while in Hoi An! Our guide Man was extremely knowledgeable about Cham history and culture. He explained in depth the many cultural facets of My Son. Man is such a warm a kind guide, stopping with us to enjoy breakfast and kindly sharing some insight into his family and Vietnamese culture overall. We honestly learnt so much and left with incredible memories. Thank you so much Man! You are incredibly wise. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
