If you are an avid lover of ancient history than My Son Sanctuary is a must see! It was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa (known as Cham people, today) would make sacrifices to the Gods.Built between the 4th – 13th century A.D., this famous architectural complex of the Cham was built to worship the god Shiva. My Son was recognised as a world cultural heritage site in 1999 by UNESCO.
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel by car for the drive to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, which takes about 1 hour.
Upon arrival, the guide will spend approximately 2 hours explaining the techniques used to build the temples and details about Champa culture.
After the tour, you will drive back to your hotel, which takes about 1 hour. The tour ends upon your return."

My Son Sanctuary
If you are an avid lover of ancient history, then Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is a must-see! Located in the upper area of the Thu Bồn River, near Đà Nẵng City and about 20 km west of Trà Kiệu Citadel, Mỹ Sơn is a cluster of Hindu temples in Duy Phú Commune, Duy Xuyên District. Once a sacred site for the Cham people (known today as Cham), it was used for making sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this renowned architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Our guide will provide insights into Cham history and their Hindu worship practices. Additionally, you will have the chance to watch a traditional Cham dance performance. Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999, Mỹ Sơn is a fascinating destination.

5.00We had a wonderful tour! I am very glad that we started at 6 AM in the morning because we were able to visit the site without too much of a crowd and before the heat of the day. Tai was a fantastic guide and tailored the experience to us. We had great communication on WhatsApp prior to departure. The best part about starting so early is that we were done by 10:30 in the morning and back to our hotel in Hoi An.

3.00The temple is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Don’t miss the traditional dance show that happens twice in the morning! The site is quite small, so it can get crowded quickly. Even if you go early before 10am, it's already very hot, so I recommend bringing a long-sleeved shirt and an umbrella for shade. There are QR codes throughout the temple, which make it easy to explore on your own and learn about the rituals and significance of each area. The guides tend to rush through their explanations, and honestly, the private tour didn’t add much value. So if you're thinking of going solo go ahead. People are super nice and helpful in the site.

5.00We highly recommend going on the private tour if able as we got there by 8am and had the ribs nearly to ourselves. We even got to see one of the two large monkeys (which they said it very rare occurrence)! On our way out of the ribs at 10, the line to get in was like a Disney ride. Our guide Emma taught us so much & was a delight as well!
