We have been avid explorers of Myakka River State Park for the better part of two decades and have been operating tours for nearly 5 years so our knowledge and expertise of the park and it's wildlife inhabitants is unmatched! Our guides are also extremely proficient in photography so you will leave with plenty of great photo mementos at no additional cost! Perhaps what makes our experience the most unique is that our top of the line E-bikes allow you to choose how much effort you put into the ride. Put your assist level low and get some exercise or allow the bike to do all the work and see the entire park sweat-free.

Myakka Canopy Walkway
The Myakka Canopy Walkway provides easy access to observe life in the treetops of an oak/palm hammock. As an outdoor laboratory for research and education, it is also a place for discovery and provides an opportunity for visitors to see canopy inhabitants up close. Completed in 2000, this structure is the first public treetop trail in North America. The walkway is suspended 25 feet above the ground and extends 100 feet through the hammock canopy. The taller tower soars 74 feet in the air to present a spectacular view of treetops, wetlands and the prairie/hammock interface. You can look down on eagles, hawks, vultures, and the tops of live oak and sabal palm trees.

You will be greeted by our guides where you'll promptly get a thorough explanation of the electric bicycles and all safety protocols. Then were off to explore Florida's largest State Park! The majestic Myakka river flows through 58 square miles of vast unspoiled wetlands, prairies, hammocks and pinelands, where we’re all but guaranteed to see numerous deer, alligators (at a very safe distance), birds and so much more! If old Florida beauty and nature is more your pace, this is the tour for you!

5.00Great time on e-bike tour! Our first time on e-bikes but won't be our last. Derek was a great tour leader - low key and fun. His assistant Chad was also very nice. Well-run operation; clearly communicated with us after ticket purchase about directions, etc. and sent along an update on the morning of the tour. Nice bonus is the photos he took and shared with us at the end of the tour.

5.00We took visitors on this tour and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Derek was informative, funny and engaging. He took very good care of the guests, especially when they fell off the bikes (eh...that was me, twice!). The park is beautiful and it was great to be outside and do something different. We always take guests on Viator tours (including the Siesta Beach sunset tour, which is also great). Highly recommend.

5.00Four of us in our group. We all had a great time and highly recommend. Derek kept it "light" with his great sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable about the park and we thoroughly enjoyed being out in nature on a gorgeous day.

This was a Highlight of our month in Florida! Derek the guide was very informative, funny and a wealth of knowledge.

5.00When you sign up, Derek texts you with all the details of where to go and when. Before you start out he goes over all the safety protocols of the e-bike and mistakes others have made so you don’t do those! We saw baby and adult alligators, plus different kinds of birds today but that varies day to day! The canopy tower was breathtaking and one of a kind! The cherry on top was Derek taking all kinds of pictures and dropping them into your phone before you leave! Who does that?!! Now we have pictures of our memories! This exceeded my expectations!
