Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple
After the garden tour, enjoy a scenic drive through Nadi Backroad to Nadi Temple. This tour ends at the sight of the great Nadi Temple, otherwise named "Sri Siva Subarmaniya Temple." This unique Hindu temple, the largest in the southern hemisphere, reflects an architectural style rarely seen outside India, and houses sacred statues designed by craftspeople brought over from India. This peaceful Hindu temple strikes a vibrant pose against a dramatic mountainous backdrop. You will be taken in on a guided tour with and informative guide before returning to your hotel.

Visit Namaka Market for a glimps of what fresh produce the farmers have in-store. From different seasonal fruits, vegetables and root crops. Feel free to take photos and talk to the local vendors.

2.00We enjoyed the Sleeping Giant—it was beautiful. The rest wasn’t so enjoyable. It wasn’t exactly a tour but a driver, and a very sexist one at that. Didn’t even look or speak to me, talked only to my husband the entire time which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. He pointed out some female drivers in a derogatory way as well. He also took us to several stores where we were pressured to buy cheap souvenirs we did not want. I think this would have been better as a group tour, where they treat tourists equally considering that they rely so heavily on tourist money for their economy.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour. Unexpectedly, it turned into a private tour with Navin. He provided us great information on Fiji — population, geography, commerce, history and customs. One of the best information was on crops and food — dalo and bread fruit. It was a great introduction to Fiji.

Visited local market, temple, garden at the sleeping giant, and vkseisei village. It efficiently check boxes on landmarks.

4.00The driver was on time, professional, and friendly. The tour was presented as advertised. Only complaint would be there was no actual presentation about the sites we were visiting. Fortunately I had done my research before to understand the historical or cultural significance to the sights. But if you're looking for a clean spacious and professional van with driver, this worked well. Just don't expect a history lesson like I was.

5.00We had three excellent excursions with Jonasa who took us sightseeing in Nadi, to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant and to the Village of Viseisei, and when it was time to leave he cheerfully took us to the airport at a ridiculously early hour. He has excellent local knowledge, clearly explained local customs and traditions, and was charming, friendly and funny. 5 stars for Jonasa and Epic!

4.00For the Hindu temple, make sure you know the clothing restrictions and you do have to go, barefoot. The farmers market was enjoyable, but everything’s mostly fish and vegetables, so really nothing to buy.. It was rainy and foggy so we didn’t get to go to the Lookout.. It was very rainy when we went to the oldest village so that was difficult to enjoy.. got a little bit of a break in the weather at the tropical gardens and that was amazing… definitely a must do in Fiji would be the tropical Gardens. My tour guide was very kind and pointed out highlights of the island along with some history. He is a safe driver and very prompt.
Our first trip out of Australia and we chose Fiji. 5 stars

5.00This tour showed us a little bit of everything in Nadi. The temple was amazing, they gave us a brochure that showed the celling painting more clearly with detailed descriptions of that they depicted. We had fresh pineapple from the Produce Markets, which was so fresh and yummy. Our driver let us stop at Jacks for some souvenirs before we headed to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. This place was so serine and quiet, making it the perfect place fro reflection!
