A one-day hike to Nagarkot is a perfect iconic journey to the hill station at an altitude of approximately 2,195 m (7,201 ft) above sea level to breathe in the serene air of Nepal's hills & Himalayas near the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Situated about 32 km/20 miles away from Kathmandu in Nepal’s historic Bhaktapur District, hiking to Nagarkot is actually one of those rare opportunities to admire the tallest mountain giant in the world, Mt. Everest (8,848 m), along with some of the tops globally such as Mt. Manaslu (the eighth highest mountain), Mt. Annapurna (the tenth largest mountain summit), & others. Further, the Nagarkot hill station serves as an excellent vantage point, providing the stunning expansive Himalayan panorama, dramatic sunrise & sunset feasible for every age group & experience level. At the same time, you get to visit one of the UNESCO world’s heritage sites, Changunarayan, on a one-day guided hike to Nagarkot. Note: - A two-hour drive & rest period.

5.00A great organized trip we were allowed to experience with 2 people. From Kathmandu along the Himalayan mountain range to the jungle of the south. Experienced, both culturally and geographically, with impressions that can hardly be put into words. A warm welcome at Kathmandu airport by Rana with driver to the hotel with initial briefing and information on the next day with beautiful flight in bright sunshine along the Himalayan mountains. We got the next few days a guide and driver with comfortable vehicle (compact SUV). Both were available to us constantly informative (guide) and with safe driving (driver) and have led us to the most interesting sights we would hardly have seen otherwise. We hardly had to worry about anything, (entrance etc.) everything was done reliably by the guide. Had we ever been alone and had not known further, no problem, Rana and guide were always available by phone or WhatsApp and could have helped to feel good security. At all stations of the trip we almost felt at home, as if good acquaintances were accompanying us. Farewell we were able to do a few small individual shopping wishes in Kathmandu with Rana samsame and also got some small parting gifts. Therefore full score for a recommended tour provider. Thank you Rana!

5.009 days wonderful in Nepal: (9th to 19th April 2025) 5 stars for the organization including: - the 2/3 days visits of Kathmandu including the guide and driver, - the helicopter trip Kathmandu / Lukla / Kathmandu - the 4/5 days trekking including the Nepalese food (excellent!) and accommodation in lodges 5 stars and more the for the extreme kindness of the guide and the unforgettable souvenirs (Everest views for 3 days/4) and pictures. 9 Unforgettable Days in Nepal: A Journey of a Lifetime Our 9-day adventure in Nepal was nothing short of extraordinary, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating for its impeccable organization. The highlights included: +Exploring Kathmandu: We spent 2 to 3 days discovering the vibrant city, complete with a knowledgeable guide and a reliable driver who ensured a smooth and insightful experience. +Scenic Helicopter Tour: The breathtaking helicopter trip from Kathmandu to Lukla and back was a true marvel, offering stunning aerial views. +Trekking Adventure (Lukla > Phakding > Namche bazaar > Khumjung > Khunde > Hillary Memorial (4050m) > Namche bazaar > Lukla: The delicious Nepalese cuisine and cozy lodge accommodations made every moment memorable (like the 3 days view on Everest or the monasteries visits) 5 Stars and More: for the extreme kindness of the guide and the unforgettable souvenirs and pictures. 5.00What an adventure. Travelling with Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks pvt. Ltd. Leaving crazy Kathmandu with our guide Rudra heading for the mountains. Great views on the journey up to Syabrubesi in a jeep. Overnight in the village and then the trek starts first thing in the morning. Climbing 750 metres initially the view gets better and better. Our team, Rudra the guide and our two porters Samu and Malpa. They are magnificent. Instantly making us feel safe, confident and at ease. These boys are strong. Our trek continues and our bond strengthens. Great fun, informative and entertaining. We would highly recommend using this company and certainly Rudra, Samu and Malpa. What a team.
