  Thank you Kumi for a wonderful day out. We really enjoyed the ‘Nagoya highlight tour guided by a friendly local’. It really was like walking with a friend who is very familiar with the area. Under expert guidance we were guided through the Nagoya rail system to discover places we might not have found ourselves. We learned about customs and traditions and were able to sample different foods along the way. This tour was an excellent experience and a great introduction to Japanese way of life. We would strongly recommend Kumi to anyone interested in seeing and experiencing Nagoya in a leisurely manner.

  I was traveling solo and me up with my guide Tomoko. She was so knowledgeable about the whole of Nagoya and went out of her way to make sure I had the most fantastic experience.

  Toma was our tour guide and she was fantastic. She took great care of the four of us. Catered to whatever we wanted to do. So informative and friendly. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Tom for our great time! We all enjoyed meeting you.

  I had an incredible experience with Yoko, my brilliant tour guide! Doing a one-to-one tour is expensive, but it was worth every penny! We went to Nagoya Castle, Atsuta Shrine and ended the tour with some shopping in Sakae. Yoko was lovely and very knowledgeable about everything we saw. She answered all my questions too. We had a delicious lunch by Nagoya Castle too. Yoko taught me how to pray in a shrine, a lovely moment and we went to the Samurai sword museum by the shrine. You can even lift a real sword! I highly recommend this tour! PS: If you cannot tolerate walking in the heat, you should not go, it was extremely hot.

  Thanks Chao (Tomoko) for a wonderful tour of Nagoya. It was hot and tiring but we thoroughly enjoyed the 6 plus hour private tour with her. Her English was excellent having spent many years abroad. Her depth of knowledge was exceptional, in particular when she brought us through the Nagoya restored Palace. She was great company and we spent much of our time with her talking about many things outside of the tour itself. Highly recommended
