Perfect day trip to Sun Moon Lake from Taipei!

5.00Vincent was an excellent guide on the Sun Moon Lake day trip, he was friendly and funny, very informative, and kept everyone on track with timings including rest stops and food and activities. The ride was comfortable and we could eat and sleep on the bus with a service station stop between Taipei and Sun Moon Lake. Sun Moon Lake was absolutely beautiful and a must see attraction in Taiwan. We went on a boat on the lake and we also rented a bike for a scenic cycle round part of the lake. We visited two piers one with a temple and one with lots of shops and food and drinks. Overall a really enjoyable day and a convenient way to visit the stunning Sun Moon Lake.

4.00Very good experience with very helpful driver/guide. Long drive by Vic and taking the group home in the evening and he was definitely a safe driver. A lot of activities at the sites we visited. The boat trips were good but disappointingly no one can explain in English what the river boat conductor was saying. Otherwise, certainly jam packed with things to do during a short period. Thank you for a safe and insightful trip.

1.00The tour itself says 7:30am. I got a message on WhatsApp the day before that "the meeting time" (not departure time) was at 7:15am. I'm sorry, but I don't check my WhatsApp when on another tour. They just left without us. No communication. No nothing. We showed up at exactly the time they told us, in the location they told us. If it needs to start at 7:15am, update your tour to reflect that. I've never missed a tour start until today. What a disgrace. Now we've got nothing planned for a whole day.

3.00While the lake itself is beautiful, not sure if it is worth traveling a good 7-8 hours within a day. We enjoyed the lake and the food street, the guide was very interactive :)

5.00Had a great time last Monday. Gabe was a great tour guide. The lake is very beautiful to see in person. We also saw a very cool big temple-Wen Wu Temple. Definitely recommend the tour.

5.00This is a good tour of a beautiful, remarkable place. Without the organized tour, visiting this worthy landmark would be cumbersome. The tour was well-organized and our guide Vincent was friendly and helpful. Before the tour, check the meeting site; expect many tours gathering there in the morning. There will be an option to take a rental bike, use it - it is easy and provides good views.

Gorgeous Lake and Temples

5.00It looks a very mystical the legendary Lake with the special ambiance. We met some tribal people I spoke too. An interesting expierence. And of course the Temples and the history. The Bliss of that remote places was in the air. I loved it. I do think if there is time it’s good to take the same tour but for two days to really enjoy the Lake and the surroundings. Vaness our tour guide took good care of us. I appreciate him.
