All passengers are transported on free shuttle buses from Napier Port to the Napier iSite Visitor Information Centre.
Our store is located directly across the street from the Visitors Centre.
We open outside our normal hours to match your ship's docking time - so you can make most of your visit!

4.00Easy pick up, bikes were ready and waiting. Maps were available. Pannier bags were not enormous, but did expand and we could both put would small rucksacks in them Front wheel needed tightening after riding for a bit as the quick release had not been tightened properly

5.00The bikes were ready to go for us when we arrived. Each bike had a lock and a bike bag. They were in great condition, and the location was perfect— directly across from the welcome center.

5.00Coming into dock in Napier we knew there was a chance that if was too windy we wouldn't be able to dock. Napier City Bikes won't charge if the ship doesn't dock. Since it's a closed port we had to take a bus out of the port but it dropped us off right across the street from the bike shop. 5 of us rented e-bikes in case it was really windy (which it wasn't) and 2 got cruisers. Everything was ready for us when we got there. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and had such a wonderful time getting some exercise after being on the ship for many days. We road to the Crab Farm Winery, then headed back to the shop. Highly recommend!!

4.00Bikes well maintained. Good briefing prior to setting off however due to major roadworks and road closures we were unable to find/access the vineyard trail marked in yellow on the map we were given. We ended up riding along the coastal path instead which was pleasant but not outstanding…

5.00Excellent well prepared bikes. We had a great day, Napier has terrific cycle paths, scenic and away from traffic. And Sandra kindly called a taxi for us to get us back to our campsite! Thank you!

5.00Wonderful experience from start to finish. We were given recommendations and maps suggesting where to ride, great bikes, and instructions on how to use the bikes. Also included were helmets, a lock, and a storage bag on the back. And…Napier is a biking haven. Could not say enough good things about this place and the people operating it! Would highly recommend!!!
