  It was a very pleasant tour and we were introduced to interesting foods and spices. The tastings were delicious and you should bring appetite.

  narrow, noisy, intrusive, few shops are really good and interesting. Sellers are a little too aggressive in their sales efforts. One then also has the impression that one can easily be over-advantaged with the agility presented. A corner smells only of fish...it's not supposed to smell... the streets are just too narrow to move well...

  While our host, Peter, was great, nice, informative, and helpful, the tour itself was not what we expected. We were hoping to learn more about Viennese food and culture. Instead the tour was largely focused on middle eastern cuisine. Additionally, we didn’t really eat that much food leaving us all hungry for lunch post the tour. Also, we had a drink and didn’t realize it wasn’t part of the tour expense; which was an additional 5,50 euros.

  Michael our guide was eclectic and very knowledgeable. A good tour of part of the huge market and a taste of a few good foods and spices.

  I do not recommend this tour at all. I’ve been on food tours all over the world; they have been amazing experiences and ways to learn about where I am visiting through their food culture. This tour did not meet the fundamental goal of showcasing Viennese food or culture; rather, the tastings were of Middle Eastern and Italian dishes. There are hardly three stops, and at the end, I was looking for a place I could have lunch. The tour is not about eating food; rather, the guide spent the majority of the tour pointing to basic fruits and vegetables. Overall, this was massively disappointing.

  The guide had a very nice way of imparting knowledge. Oh, if we liked it well, found it too expensive. We paid 54€ per person and others allegedly only 33€ (?)

  Excellent market. Lots of organization, variety and beautiful. All fresh and clean. However, COVID-19 measures were not met.

  Peter Nowak is an excellent guide. Although I´ve been at "Naschmarkt" very often, he gave us new information and useful tipps. Very interesting and lovely trip.

  A friend of mine went to school in Vienna and was visiting a friend's school and I went to the Naschmarkt because it was famous around it and there was plenty to see and it was fun! There were many small shops, and there was an atmosphere to eat or sit in front of the cafe and drink coffee. It's a good location, so it's great to go around Vienna and pass by.
