This whiskey tour is rolling straight into Lynchburg from Nashville. You can hop on the bus, kick back, and enjoy the ride to the historic and picturesque Jack Daniel's Distillery. You'll have time to peruse downtown Lynchburg, just a 5-minute walk from the distillery, and grab a quick bite to eat. We've got some suggestions! Don't forget to stop in the White Rabbit Bottle Shop and grab some limited bottles of whiskey.
DISCLAIMER: The 12:00 PM tours WILL NOT have time to explore or eat lunch in Lynchburg. We highly recommend eating lunch prior to pick up.

This is a 21 years old and up event. Minimum drinking age is 21 years. Valid government issued photo IDs are required to participate on tour.
You will either be transported by our coach bus or 15 passenger van depending on the size of group
Tours run rain or shine, snow and sleet, hot and cold. Dress appropriately.
Please Note: There are no bathrooms on board the bus, please plan accordingly.

Guests wishing to dine at Miss Mary Bobo's restaurant must make reservations in advance on the Jack Daniel's website for 11am and inform their driver when boarding the bus.
Foreign identification (e.g., driver’s license, passport) are accepted as long as they are not expired.

You will be required to ascend and descend many steps. This tour is not recommended for those with mobility challenges.

This Jack and Back tour picks up near the Rep. John Lewis Way South and Korean Veterans Blvd intersection in downtown Nashville at 9:00am. Feel free to bring your adult beverages of choice. The group will depart promptly at 9:10am for the 1.5 hour trip to Lynchburg, TN. This trip takes you through the small town of Shelbyville, a town famous for the Tennessee Walking Horse. The remaining thirty minute commute takes you through picturesque rolling hills and farms into Moore County, only one of three counties where distilling was legal in Tennessee until just a few years ago. Upon arriving at Jack Daniel's distillery, you'll disembark the bus and your guide get you checked-in to the distillery. The tasting tour runs approximately 1.5-hours. You'll have about an hour and a half to peruse the small square of downtown Lynchburg. This tour will depart Lynchburg at 2:30pm and drop off at the starting point at approximately 4:00pm.

Upon arriving at Jack Daniel's distillery, you'll disembark the bus and your guide get you checked-in to the distillery. The tasting tour runs approximately 1.5-hours.

5.00Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed are Jack and Back tour. To start are bus driver Frank was extremely knowledgeable about the Nashville area as well as what we should expect on our tour of the distillery. Our tour guide at the distillery Kathy was a lot of fun, she was very knowledgeable about the history of Jack Daniel’s and explained the process of making the whiskey extremely well. She walked us through the tasting process explaining what was done differently to achieve the different types. We also enjoyed the barbecue at Barrelhouse. This was a great time and we are so glad that we booked this trip. We would highly recommend the Jack and Back tour to experience the town of Lynchburg and the Jack Daniel’s distillery.
Do this tour even if you don’t like whiskey!!!

5.00The tour is absolutely fascinating, so much history. They pretty much show you everything. Our tour guide Hannah Grace took so much pride in her work and being part of that family. Highly recommend it, if you want to save a little $$, it's only 1.5 miles out of Nashville

3.00Driver (Frank) was fun and drove a great drive.JD tour was great , engaging and run well on a great property. Although on new bus, the seats were terrible way too small and we are not considered tall ! For the price it was not a comfortable trip and quite rushed.

5.00Great, comfortable ride to Lynchburg with convenient pick up point in downtown Nashville. Jack Daniel’s Tour was top notch whether you’re a whiskey fan or just along for the experience. Rich, interesting history of the brand. Pay for the slushie before the tour, wear comfortable shoes. It’s a walking tour (mostly outside) and you’re climbing steps inside and out. If you’re a JD lover, leave some room in your suitcase to bring back bottles you can only get there or in TN. Time spent exploring Lynchburg is just enough. Stop into barrelhouse bbq for their crack grilled cheese.
