With a local instructor as your host, you’ll learn all about America’s first combination candy bar and it’s significance to Nashville history. As part of the class, you’ll get to taste several types of chocolate and try a sample of this beloved Tennessee treat. All guests take part in a hands-on candy making session where you design your own Premium Goo Goo, choosing from a plethora of ingredients.

In 1912, America's first combination candy bar was created in Nashville, TN. The Goo Goo Cluster is a roundish mound of rich caramel, marshmallow nougat, and fresh roasted peanuts, all covered in milk chocolate. In recent years, the company opened their flagship store in the heart of downtown - the Goo Goo Chocolate Co. Here at the experiential retail store, guests can take part in a fun, hands-on class to get "A Taste of Goo Goo". The experience includes: - Tasting + Insider look at the history of Nashville's official candy bar - Hands-on candy making - Classic clusters + take home apron Please note: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All parties in the classroom must purchase a ticket. We recommend children be 5 and over for best enjoyment.

5.00The experience was very fun! We very much enjoyed learning some of the history of the GOO GOO candy. Making our own cluster was amazing! The only thing I would suggest doing differently is including all four varieties in the tasting in the beginning, especially since chocolate tasting is mentioned in the description of the class. The original is of course a favorite but we would have loved to have a small sample of all four. Otherwise, an awesome class with an awesome host and hostess!

5.00Candy making and a little history all wrapped up in a fun experience. You get to make your own large chocolate piece and learn about Goo Goo candies. The staff are friendly, fun and informative. Well worth it.

5.00The activity was informative and fun. Rayna and the other helper were great! Truthfully the workers behind the scene looked like the unhappiest people-( like they do not enjoy their job) as we all watched behind the glass

5.00You get a history of Goo Goo and a really fun candy making experience. Site is smaller than we realized, so you aren’t really walking as much as we anticipated. Your personalized 1/4 lb chocolate, a cute apron, and other chocolate samples included in your experience as well as coupons for a store discount at the end.
Rayna provided a wonderful experience. it was a lot of fun.
