This experience is special for those who would like to get away from the big tourist attractions of Los Cabos and spend some relaxing time surrounded by nature. You also get a chance to see and experience the more authentic mexican towns and taste the traditional food of this region while you learn about the local culture. Visit the Natural Hot Springs located in the natural reserve of Sierra de la Laguna. In this unique place away from the busy attractions of Los Cabos you can relax in peace surrounded by beautiful nature. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy bathing in the natural hot springs as well as swimming in the cold river pools! If you are in good shape and like hiking we can do a guided hike up river to see some more natural swimming pools and small waterfalls. If you are up for a more challenging and longer hike you get rewarded with a secluded an exclusive hot spring as well as breathtaking views of the canyon and mountains. ! You will also learn about the flora, fauna, and brief history of the area as well as the local culture. After the hot springs we can stop at a local family restaurant for authentic lunch. (optional and not included in the price) Live this unique experience with Good Trips Baja! The total time of the tour is approximately 7 hours including transportation time. It takes from 1.5 to 2 hours drive to get there but it is a nice drive into the natural reserve were you can get to see the country side of los cabos.

Max the tour guide was perfect. He met each moment with the perfect amount of care and service. The hike was really dope. Definitely take the challenging path it’s really worth it.

Max took us on an unforgettable private adventure to the Santa Rita Hot Springs, easily one of the most unique experiences we’ve had in Baja. We stopped in Santiago to see the oasis of green palms before heading deep into the Sierra de la Laguna, far off the typical Cabo tourist track. He led us on a beautiful hike up the river, scaling granite rocks to a deserted swimming hole with a waterfall. The natural pools were absolutely magical, an unexpected paradise tucked into the middle of the arid Baja landscape. Max tailored the whole day to our family, knowing we spend a lot of time outdoors back home, and it made the experience feel personal and perfectly paced. We wrapped up with incredible lobster tacos, which honestly should be their own tour. If you’re an adventurous traveler looking for something raw, remote, and real, Max is your guy.

This is our second time doing this experience and it was so worth it . Carlos took us this time and he was fabulous!! I will say this trek is not for the weak!! The roads are dirt and very bumpy and not everyones's cup of tea but when you get to hot springs it is worth it!! It is so beautiful !! and then we went to the waterfall which was about 20 more minutes of lots of bumps and driving through some water but again worth every minute!! It is a whole new way to see Cabo !! Last stop is a wonderful lunch at a local place that serves the best Lobster taco's and yummy margarita's !! It is about an 8hr. day from start to finish . FYI Carlos jumps higher than Max from waterfall!! LOL!!

Great way to see and enjoy some nature in the Cabo area. It’s about a 90 min drive and flexible for all level of hikers.

Carlos was an amazing guide. So fun and so passionate. My wife Anne and I like to do things that are physically challenging, unique, culturally stimulating and fun versus sitting at the beach. While we are not on vacation, wlike to mtn bike, ski, hike, and white water raft and were looking for something—this full day excursion checked all the boxes for us. Carlos, our guide, really made the trip with an extensive knowledge of the area and a passion for getting people into nature. I’d do it again and will look for other Carlos and Max trips in the future. ¡ Gracias por todo!

This is a must do if you enjoy getting off the beaten path and away from the tourist area. Carlos was our private guide and did a great job of telling and showing us interesting things on the way to the Hot Spring. There were hardly any people at the site that day which was very nice. The Hot Spring was about 100-102 degrees and the river beside it was plesantly cold. Swimming to the waterfall up Spring was delightful. It was such a good experience that we are going back next week and taking our friends. We are 79 years old and were able to do the hike to the Spring. Wear sturdy shoes for hiking and maybe another pair of flip flops for walking around the Spring area. There is a small room for changing and a clean outhouse. Carlos is very good with helping with balancing while crossing rocks.

Max was amazing and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend him for a guide! We were given options once getting to hiking spot and got to pick what we wanted to do most, we got to go to hot springs and go see the waterfall where I lost my shades but Max grabbed his snorkeling gear and quickly found them! After the tour we got the best Mexican food we've ever had, after that we tried a few different unique kinds of ice cream that were delicious. If your in the area I recommend doing this hike right away when you get there and get his expertise in the area and ideas of all the hot spots

The tour guide was the owner and he was great. He showed up on time and explained the towns and mountains along the way. The ride was about 1.5 hours. He gave us the option of doing the hot springs or hiking to the waterfall and we chose the waterfall because it was hot outside already. He came with cold water and protein granola bars. The waterfall was beautiful and we got to swim in it. Then we hiked some more to the top of the waterfall and a natural slide that my son went down. The hike was moderately strenuous but beautiful. He explained some plants and animals. I would recommend the local restaurant after the hike. It had great food and reasonable prices. We were back by 2:30pm. I’m so glad we did the hike and would do the hot springs in the winter time.

Awesome hike and get away to see more of the country. The natural springs were great and the restaurant Carlos took us too was outstanding. Lobster tacos and Mango margaritas! Carlos was terrific!!👍👍👍would HIGHLY recommend this excursion as a break from the city.
