Relive the part of historic heritage of Bosnia & Herzegovina - This day tour will push you back in time by taking you to Mostar and two extra spectacular locations. All at your own pace and door-to-door driver & guide service.

Mostar is a historic old city dating from the Ottoman empire – one of the sunniest cities in Europe and a place where three different cultures meet and blend into a single unity, known for its' distinctive stone bridge.

Počitelj is a charming medeval city built entirely out of stone on tall and steep cliffs dominating over Neretva river.

Morning departure from Split area followed by two-hour drive towards Mostar in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Optional walking tour followed by organized lunch at a traditional Bosnian restaurant. After leaving Mostar, move towards Dervish monastery in Blagaj village for 45-minute sightseeing and coffee break. On return to Split, stop at town of Počitelj for walkaround and sightseeing. Two-hour drive back to Split.

What a fabulous day! Perfect mix of outdoor beauty, history and culture. We cannot recommend our guide Igor enough -great driver, knowledgable guide, and just fun to spend the day with. We came away with a bit of understanding of the cultural complexity of this region. We feel it was a great value and strongly recommend this excursion.

Wonderful day out in Herzegovina. Mostar is a jewel and Igor made it a memorable experience. Informative, great sense of humor, flexible and on short will remember this trip for a long time.

Igor was an amazing tour guide! He made our day simply perfect… The border took no time at all, and he was knowledgeable about all of our stops, which helped us explore the fortress, Mostar, and Kravica (waterfalls) with ease, letting us know which spots to check out, which restaurants and local spots were a must, and then ending our adventures with a drink at a friends’ bar. His driving was safe and comfortable and we enjoyed chatting and learning about Bosnian culture and history along the way! We could not recommend Igor and this tour more!

Igor provided a nice ride with sites to Mostar. Since this is a private tour, he made it very flexible for what we wanted to do. He knows the shortcuts to avoid boarder lines. You have the free time to roam the sites on your own. Great option to see another country from Split if you are on a time crunch.

Excellent driver - very knowledgeable and friendly. It was interesting to glimpse of life in Bosnia. Kravica waterfalls were great - but everything there is cash only, so withdraw cash from ATM near the office before you go down to the falls.

Igor our guide was fantastic! Super knowledgeable, shared history and his personal experiences. Friendly and very accommodating. He recommended a change to the schedule - stopping at Plitvice Waterfalls instead of one of the other locations due to how hot it was going to be on our travel day and we are so glad we were able to experience it! His van was clean and well kept, making for a comfortable ride. Pocitelj- our first stop was Pocitelj, where we were able to climb to the top of the fort for great views and go into the mosque to experience the Ottoman-era architecture. Mostar- what a beautiful city! Igor drove us through, providing an overview, pointing out various historical interest points before parking and walking us into the bustling center to see the famous bridge. He suggested a lunch spot, which was fantastic and provided a continual view of picturesque Mostar, along with a chance for even better photos of the bridge. The food was great also! Plitvice Falls- such a fun stop. The waterfalls were beautiful plus there were restaurants and bars rights along the water’s edge. We all enjoyed cooling down with a swim and playing under the falls. Random note: to enter the mosques in Pocitelj and Mostar- both require appropriate dress, respectful of Islamic religion and culture. Long pants for men, long sleeves, pants and head coverings for women. Both offered to allow anyone not dressed appropriately to borrow coverings.

Good use of time. Mostar was lovely but crowded. It was nice having a private trip as our driver, Igor, was on time and flexible.

Highly recommend the trip. It is at the pace you want and no hassle with waiting for a busload of people. Igor was a delight! Funny, friendly and great storyteller. We had a lovely time.
