  We had an absolutely fantastic day with Matt from Sydney Guided Tours! From start to finish, he was excellent — extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. His knowledge of the area was incredible, and he shared so many interesting insights in such an engaging way that the whole experience felt both fun and informative. Matt took us to breathtaking views we never would have found on our own. Every stop felt special and thoughtfully chosen. One of the highlights was getting to play with a koala — such an unforgettable experience! To top it all off, Matt was basically our personal photographer for the day, making sure we had amazing photos to remember everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend Sydney Guided Tours and especially Matt — it truly made our trip unforgettable!

  We only had two full days to explore the city before we had to leave for our cruise and we wanted to explore as much of Sydney as possible. Matt was an amazing tour guide. He really listened to our interests and made sure we were able to have so many different quintessential Australian experiences. The private tour is definitely the way to go. From picking us up from our hotel lobby to dropping us off at the end of the day, the experience was seamless. Matt made sure to avoid the tourist traps where we would be congested with thousands of others pouring off the tour buses. Instead, he took us to places where real Australians go. We never felt rushed. I went into this tour with high expectations, and it was so much better than I could have hoped for. I wish we could keep him as our tour guide for the remainder of our vacation.

  A great day with Matt. Informal, lots of FUN, educational, getting to see so much, yet simple and unrushed with a personal touch. We didn't feel like tourists at all. Our time at the wildlife rescue was fantastic. We also saw (many) Bats in trees and discovered several beautiful beaches. An unforgettable experience

  Fantastic day with Matt! Shared his knowledge and experience with the outdoors and Australia. Took us to hidden gems. The best beaches and lookouts. Loved getting up close with the animals. We had a great time hanging out with him. Would definitely recommend this tour!!

  See quiet flora and fauna. Guide was awsome filled with knowledge. Peaceful saw nice things outskirts of Sydney. Enjoyable!

  Matt is an incredible guide. His love of country and depth of knowledge on wildlife and the bush was amazing. He seamlessly customized a day for us checking every box on our wishlist. We are in awe of all the places he took us and the wildlife we saw. Had a lovely lunch at a wonderful ocean side restaurant with a table he had reserved for us. He did all of this in torrential rain. He never missed a beat. He is top notch! We hope to tour with him again soon.

  As a first-time visitor to Sydney, I couldn’t have imagined a more extraordinary way to experience the region in a single day. This wasn’t just a tour, it felt like being gently guided into the heart of the country, its landscapes, its wildlife, and its stories. It was still a busy holiday time the first week of January, and I didn’t want a typical ‘tourist’ experience, so I’m super happy I chose Sydney Guided Tours. It felt like being shown around by family. Matt is an exceptional guide in every sense. Effortlessly knowledgeable, warm, and intuitive, he created a day that felt both expansive and deeply personal. We moved from quiet bushland to breathtaking coastal views, from iconic scenery to hidden places that felt like secrets, all without ever feeling rushed. Seeing kangaroos, koalas, crawly critters, and native wildlife in their natural environment was genuinely magical, and Matt’s storytelling brought each moment to life. Matt somehow knows the right words to make you feel deeply connected to the experience in a way you’ll carry forever. What made the day even more special was sharing it with my son, who is currently living in Sydney.   Brilliant day adventuring with Matt. We explored forests, a wildlife sanctuary, a flying fox colony, and an awe inspiring rocky coastline walk. Great to see some of Australia more like a native and focused on our interests.
