• Unforgettable horseback riding experience

  My girlfriend and I had the most incredible private horseback riding experience just outside Thessaloniki – and we owe it all to Dora, our amazing host and guide. The entire visit lasted about 2–3 hours and felt like a perfect mix of relaxation, fun, learning, and connection with animals. From the moment we arrived at the hilltop ranch (above Thessaloniki with beautiful views and rolling green hills), Dora made us feel like more than just guests – it honestly felt like we were hanging out with a close friend who also happens to know everything about horses and farm life. She even brought fresh apples and carrots especially for our visit, which we got to feed to the horses before riding – and saved some to treat the other animals later! The farm is huge, peaceful, and beautifully kept. You can tell the animals are well loved and well cared for – the horses are healthy and relaxed, always in the shade with fresh water, and clearly used to gentle handling. Beyond the horses, we also met goats, donkeys, dogs, cats, chickens, emus, a black pig, turkeys, a chameleon, and even a pet python – it’s like a little pet sanctuary on a hill. As for the riding itself – it was about an hour of riding through nature. My girlfriend is an experienced rider, while I was doing this type of riding solo for the first time. Dora gave clear, friendly instructions and made sure we both felt confident and safe. She even shared fun facts along the trail, which added a nice personal touch. Tips & Recs: - Definitely bring comfy clothes and closed shoes. - Don’t worry if you’re a beginner – they’ll take great care of you. Go for the private option if you’re celebrating something special – it was a perfect birthday surprise for my girlfriend. We left with huge smiles, muddy shoes, and full hearts. Whether you’re a couple, a family, a group of friends, or traveling solo – I can’t recommend this enough. It's the kind of experience you'd tell your friends not to miss.

  What a wonderful experience. Spending an afternoon exploring the the Greek countryside on horseback was beautif. Our guide Dora was fantastic and made the afternoon a lot of fun. Our group had just three people, and none of us had much riding experience, but the horses are very well trained and easy to handle even for beginners. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone who loves animals.

  Such an amazing experience with Dora! Went with me 7y old son and was highlight of our trip. Animals were well cared for and the setting was beautiful.

  It was a wonderful private trip with Dora and her daughter. The stay was very pleasant. Also suitable for beginners. Absolutely recommend it.

  We were excited to do a trail ride on our vacation in Greece and this experience exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Dora picked us up in Thessaloniki and brought us to the farm where we were able to meet all the farm animals st our leisure and took our time to explore this amazing farm. When it came to the ride, the views were incredible and the horses were so good to us. The trail guide was friendly and pleasant. The farm owners were warm and welcoming. It was nice to spend time there with all the animals and we learned so much from the farm owner and their family. Would come back here again and highly recommend this experience.

  great experience! We arranged a horseback riding trip with Dora, she came to pick us up personally from Thessaloniki with warm Greek breads and drinks for the ride. The people at the farm were nice and kind and the route was lovely with a stunning view. Dora is a lovely woman, attentive and welcoming! Highly recommend!

  We had a wonderful day with Dora. She picked us up at the hotel with a big smile and immediately created a nice atmosphere. On the way to the farm, we stopped at a coffeeplace. The farm itself is created with lots of great imagination. It looks like a western city. The horses are in a good shape and you can see that they are being taken care of. The employees are very friendly and take care of you no matter what level of riding experience you have. We had advanced riders and beginners and everybody got, what he could do. After the roughly 75 minutes ride, we spent another hour doing archery and cuttling the other horses. One of them was extremely cute and only 2 weeks old. Definitely a worth trip to take!

  Great day! We stopped for a local cappuccino freddo on the way. The horse riding trail was so beautiful with an epic view. We got to say hi to farm animals and other horses after the ride too. It was my favorite day in Thess! Thanks so much!!

  I booked my day with Dora to do horse riding and family cooking in her home. I had a wonderful day, horse riding with a view, an experience I will never forget. Then we went to Dora’s home where I was very welcomed, she has a wonderful family and the food we cooked was delicious. Couldn’t of asked for a better day to have spent. Thank you Dora ☺️
