We offer a local naxian farm experience where you can see our farm animals like chickens rabbits sheep donkey peacocks and collect the eggs! You will be guided through the olive and fruit trees and you will taste seasonal fruits and our extra virgin olive oil! We will collect also vegetables and the famous naxian potato! We will taste naxian wine, raki and Naxos variety of cheese! We will cook together with our grandmother naxian recipes from the products that we have collected before! We will also dance naxian local dances and smash plates!"

The tour commences at a family-owned farm located near the village of Melanes. To begin with, guests will have the opportunity to meet a diverse range of farm animals, including chickens, rabbits, pigs, peacocks, and more. You will also have the opportunity to engage in collecting the day's freshly laid eggs. Following that, a visit to the olive groves will allow you to learn about the methods employed to cultivate healthy trees and produce top-quality olive oil. Subsequently, we will guide you through the potato fields, introducing you to the renowned Naxian potato. You will then have the chance to explore various fruit trees, sampling the delicious seasonal fruits they yield. Finally, you will collaborate in cooking traditional Naxian recipes over a wood fire. This culinary adventure will include preparing a Naxian omelet and an appetizer such as zucchini balls, tzatziki as a dip, savoring Naxian potatoes, sampling a variety of Naxos cheeses, preparing a main dish such as "briam" or "gemista" and enjoying locally produced house wine. To conclude, if you’re in the mood for some fun, you can even take part in traditional Naxian dancing together and even smash plates Greek-style!

5.00Truly a local experience. The real deal. Opposite of tourist spot. Family run farm. Amazing family/staff. Full of history. Culture. Delicious food that fun to make. Wine, music and a little dance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

5.00This was the best day! We had such a good time learning about the farm, cooking and then eating a great variety of local foods. The location and the ceiling fans had a great breeze so we were never hot. They had to go boxes for all the food we made. We ended the day with Greek dancing and plate breaking. Highly highly recommend!

5.00What a fantastic day we had at the Naxos Perivoli Farm cooking class a highlight of our trip to Naxos. We had a great guide Stamos who made the day so enjoyable we were guided round the farm meeting the animals collecting eggs to cook with later and learnt about the produce grown on the farm. The cooking class was very good and we were guided by a fabulous lady the food and wine then flowed more than you could possibly eat and drink (I would recommend no breakfast if you are going to the morning session!!) .. we met some lovely people from all over the world at this authentic Greek experience. Finished off with Greek dancing and plate smashing what more could you ask for wonderful.

5.00My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the farm experience. The family was very friendly. It was great to see how the products are grown and produced sustainably. The food was delicious. We can’t wait to try their recipes at home.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing time at the Perivoli farm experience. They started with a farm tour, then taught us how to make some delicious dishes, including zucchini fritters, Saganaki, Greek salad, and a vegetable stew. Everything was so delicious, woodfired and right from the farm. We also danced and smashed platters to fun Greek music with the family and other folks on the tour who we really enjoyed meeting. 10 out of 10 experience for sure, and would recommend to anyone spending time on Naxos.

5.00I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The guide/hosts were amazing. The food was amazing and the vibe was 2nd to none. We loved Tina. She provided a wealth of information and was amazing with our little girls. We had so much fun! I’d recommend and give 10 starts if I could.

5.00Nikos and his family were extremely welcoming and the experience was wonderful. We enjoyed exploring the farm, preparing food and gathering to enjoy the various dishes. We did the evening tour and it was a lot of food for dinner. They tended to every detail and even surprised my daughter with a birthday cake as it was her special day. Highly recommended for you or your family while on Naxos.

5.00We were torn how to spend our limited time on Naxos, but we left the Naxos Perivoli Farm Experience with the fullest hearts - and stomachs!! Nikos and his family were so incredible. The walk through their farm was incredible and a joy to have it shared with us in such a meaningful way. We collected eggs for our meal, we crafted some delicious meals, drank their family wine, and danced until we were dripping sweat. I would reccomend this experience a thousand times over!!! We didn’t want to leave when it was over. Truly such a welcoming experience, and we haven’t stopped talking about it since we left. If you have the opportunity to embark, DO IT!!
