  After booking and looking forward to snorkeling and catamaran tour in St Kitts on our cruise, it was a huge disappointment to get to meeting point to find out the tour had been canceled. We were told they tried to reach us, but I didn't have a voicemail or email stating the tour had been canceled. With 4 large ships in port, you can imagine how hard it was to find another tour. Disappointed in communication. We left Saturday and had service until Saturday night. This was a Tuesday tour. Can't recommend or not recommend but would be leary of it happening again and ruining someone else's day.....at least making it very challenging. We took the speedboat over to Nevis island for the day. It is accessible by taxi.

  I registered for this tour on April 5, 2024. I paid $200 on or about June 18, 2024. I took the ferry from St Eustatius to St Kitts on June 24, 2024. Then, and only then, was I informed that the tour had been cancelled by the local tour operator Annie's (Fontaine) Caribbean Tours. I did not receive a refund, so I called Viator on July 11, 2024. Annie had not informed Viator of the cancelation. I requested a refund and, after a second phone call to Viator 5 days later, I received my refund. Annie claims that she sent me an email when I made the reservation back in April that the tour would be cancelled if they did not have four people. That was the last I heard from her. Annie canceled the tour and did not notify me or Viator. I will never register for another of Annie's Caribbean again.

• False Advertisement. Do not book as a solo traveler!

  I would just like to warn others that St Kitts is not solo travel friendly, this company included. After struggling for a while with many cancellations as a solo traveler, I found this tour company and booked through them. Why? Please see attached photo. It says no group too small on their own website, but that is untrue. I would also like to mention I booked directly through the website as this tour company has wildly different pricing depending on the website. There are 3 different prices listed for the same tour on here, "the v" website and their own. I booked this tour July 2. I received an email receipt and separate confirmation email. I heard nothing else and thought it was fine. Only to receive a voicemail, while I was in the air mind you on July 10 that they were cancelling me because they need a minimum of 3 people. I have no issue with that (as I stated I quickly learned St Kitts doesn't like solo travelers) but why advertise on your website that no group is too small. False advertising. The voicemail ended with it "it is beyond our control" I don't know if she was talking about the trip or my refund, which as of July 13 I still have not received but I will give it a few more days. The cherry on top was the email I received this morning saying Thank you for coming on this tour and please review us..Huh?(photo attached) I hope this is not some scam or set up to try and say I went on the tour and not give me my refund. As I stated I will wait a few more days to see what happens. I do no recommend this place for the false advertising, lack of communication and whatever could potentially be going on with my refund. I will be reviewing soon how I did get to go to Nevis, AS A SOLO person, but it wasn't with Annie's

  I arranged this boat tour to Nevis for a group of 12. Arranging the tour took a lot of back and forth emails with confusing and conflicting messages from Annie. It was supposed to be a private tour and the day before our tour somehow, magically the small boat wasn’t available and we were put in a boat with 18, yes EIGHTEEN other people. It was extremely crowded and lost the private feeling of the tour. As we pre paid for the tour our group was not very happy and Annie gave us a small refund, which was decent, but I have a nagging feeling there never was a small boat and the big boat tour was ok but ruined the feeling for us and not what we were sold. Outside of the email confusion, which to me was not the way you conduct business, we felt a bit snookered. If the small boat was never available being upfront would’ve been better. Reading her reviews, probably her specialty is the land St Kitts tour, would hesitate to book a boat tour thru her again.

  The tour guide in Nevis should have used the A/C more. He allowed us to perspire way too much before he finally turned on the Air conditioning. His knowledge should have been more informational instead of opinionated. But the hot springs and homes tour was nice.

• Fantastic Tour

  Nal, the driver and guide was fantastic, courteous and full of information making for a great day. I am hard of hearing and Nal hooked up the PA system in the van which made it so much more enjoyable. When I still did not understand, Nal wrote a note so there was no ambiguity. Nal's taking the time to do this was above and beyond what anyone could expect. Everything was on time from Joseph's pick up at the hotel to my return to St Kitts. I saw much more than I expected to see and learned much about the history, politics and culture of Nevis and St Kitts from Nal. The luncheon provided a nice break. It was excellent and tasty. All in all, it was an outstanding day.

  Our guide was very knowledgeable of Nevis. He kept a good pace as far as stops. The tour was excellent.

  Our group loved Ms. Annie and Joseph on both this Nevis daytrip and the Rum Tour through Basseterre on a different day. Both gave us history and info about the places we were going while in the van. The Nevis catamaran was a great day on the water, snorkeling, beachtime and an amazing lunch! Highly recommend Annie's services for all your St. Kitts and Nevis activities!

  What a fantastic day! Annie was sooo helpful and made booking so easy. Her husband Joseph picked us up promptly at our arranged time and delivered us to the ferry terminal then proceeded to ensure we got our ferry tickets, and sent us on our way. The ferry was a modern, enclosed, passenger ferry and inside looked more like an airplane than a boat. The weather was fantastic and the crossing is an opportunity to see the coastline and rugged peaks on the island. When we arrived in Nevis, we were welcomed by their associate Vernal (Nal) McDonald. Nal is a delightful (and funny) gentleman who certainly goes the extra mile for you. The botanical gardens are beautiful, as are some of the old plantations which have been converted to Hotel Resorts. It’s wonderful to see how these old buildings have been preserved and have a new life. Nal is very knowledgeable and informative as to the local history. We are trying to eat authentic “local” food and requested so. Nal took us off the beaten track to “Rodneys Local Cuisine” we were welcomed by Rodney the owner, a wonderful lady who happens to make the best fish soup I’ve ever had. The tour included lunch (which Nal had paid when he dropped us off). As we are staying in St Kitts for 2 weeks, we didn't need to rush back to the ship and were able to extend our visit on Nevis till the last ferry back. Nal delivered us to the terminal, bought our return tickets and we said our goodbyes. Since we had opted not to return with the cruise passengers, we had assumed we were on our own to get back to our condo and were totally surprised to find Joseph waiting at the ferry to drive us home! That was the cap to a perfect day! I would not hesitate one moment to recommend Annie’s Caribbean Tours. Annie, Joseph, and Nal, thank you so much for making our excursion so memorable!
