From the relaxed comfort of our covered New Orleans Swamp Tour Boats, you will drift slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery and a fishing village! You'll admire the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase. Here, birds, snakes, turtles, fur animals, and gators - the king of the swamp - are easily spotted in Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Folding wheelchairs are allowed, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.
Service animals are permitted.
Emotional support animals are not permitted.

On this tour, you will enjoy a fully narrated swamp tour by one of our local captains on the comfort of a swamp tour boat. Our tour boats feature a roof, cushioned seats, windows that can be raised or lowered for the weather, restroom, and plenty of standing and walking room. You may even experience a close encounter with some of the local swamp life. The Swamp Tour by Tour Boat with Pickup does include ground transportation.

5.00It was a great tour by a great guide. I was there in December, but it was warmer than usual, so we saw multiple gators. I wish I could have given the guide a trip, but I didn't have cash. A QR code to give with Venmo would have been great.

3.00You’ll share the waterways with noisy and intrusive airboats. Knowledgeable captain but unable to overcome negative impact of the airboats. Unable to experience the ambience of a swamp, which involves quiet.

5.00Such a fun way to explore the swamps of Louisiana! Although we only saw a couple of gators due to the colder weather, Captain Earnie made the tour incredibly enjoyable. As a native of New Orleans, his deep knowledge of the swamps, the history of the area, his genuine love for reptiles, and his quirky personality truly made the experience special. Being from Florida, we’ve seen plenty of gators, but it was so nice to experience the Louisiana swamps and their unique beauty. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to relax, learn about Louisiana’s history, and enjoy the beautiful nature and wildlife that call the swamp home.

4.00Dewey was great. Knowledge was great. It just wasn’t very swampy. Previous swamp tours were under the big tall trees with the moss hanging over in the swampy narrow waterways- not the namnad canals. But it was great, for what it was…

5.00It was a nice day to take this tour and glad we did. I wasn't able to get the name of our guide but he's funny and has a lot of swampy stories and jokes. His pet alligator was a great dude too! Overall the tour from pick up to drop off was well organized
