  Best to book in advance and specially for popular buildings eg 9/11 memorial. Book at least 2 or 3 days in advance. Booking was v easy and tickets on phone so it was so easy to manage

  My daughter and I have just returned from a 5 night stay in NYC . We wanted to organise an itinerary , but also include time for shopping . We decided on the CityPass , and were impressed with it's simplicity . We chose The Empire State Building , The American Museum of Natural History , The 911 memorial and museum , The Top Of The Rock , and circle line express cruise. The app suggests which ones need booking in advance , and you can change dates/ times if you change your mind. All the excursions worked seamlessly , and included in your CityPass for the museum was one exhibition . We then covered other excursions ourselves , Grand Central Station , the Public Library , Central Park , Brooklyn Bridge etc .

  The value for money here is excellent. This includes the Empire State Building (potentially two visits - day time and evening on the same day) and the American Museum of Natural History (including one additional activity). You can then choose three from a range of activities. I chose to visit the Statue of Liberty, the Intrepid Museum, and the Guggenheim Museum of Art. The Intrepid was my favourite of those three - getting to see the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier, the Growler submarine, and the OV-101 space shuttle Enterprise. Guggenheim was the only choice I didn’t enjoy as much, as it was a lot smaller than anticipated. However, as part of the pack it was good.   The tickets were very good value for money, however due to my email address not being sent to City Pass, at first we were unable to book any activities. This was soon rectified with a phone all to customer service, after that the bookings went well.
