5.00A guided tour is an excellent way to navigate and learn the history if the park. If you can request a tour guide ask for Sunny Tee, he was an excellent host and very informative about the Falls and even share a few tips to bettering the tour.

2.00Biggest issue was being told by Viator that we would be picked up at the hotel. Only to be told by the tour company they don't pick up at our hotel We wound up having to pay $10 for parking and $4 tolls. The falls tour and fireworks were great.

5.00I am only reviewing this at this rate for Brian, though the description of this tour is different than everything listed by a few small details, this is the price I paid. Brian made all the difference in making this tour a success! He provided more than other tour guides I have had in the past. I would definitely book and personally request him! My recommendation is to stay a little outside of downtown to be picked up (being early pick-up has some perks). I stayed at the Hampton on Niagra falls Blvd and was second on the bus. Anyway, book and ask for Brian!

5.00First off, our guide, Jimmy, was fantastic. Humorous and very informative. He always kept the moral high despite the unforgiving heat through the day (Some lady on the park grounds actually got carried off by the EMS due to the heatstroke) FYI, there's a lot more walking and waiting than I anticipated. Be prepared mentally (and with a sunscreen) for the day. It was a good thing that the tour bus, which picked us up from the hotel, had a working AC. Free water bottles were available for the guests. 'Special footwear' was not provided for the tour! Bring extra pair of socks and shoes in your luggage! Or you will end up like me, searching the shoe stores for fresh socks and shoes, with wet boots on. I found out water-resistant Goretex layers do not stand any chance against the waterfalls. Initial boat ride to the waterfalls (Maid of the Mist), and the final up-close-and-personal visit to the torrential blast (the Cave of the Wind, which by the way, was not a cave exploration) were the best parts of our experiences. Jimmy was a great family member for 5 hours. I will always remember his wise words; NO PONCHO.
