An enchanting adventure awaits under the starlit sky as we invite you to join our exclusive night walk at Kubah National Park, 3km roundtrip & 100metres elevation.
As dusk settles, embark into the nocturnal world of a variety of frogs from the Park Office for 1.5km and back. Spot the vibrant tree frogs perched on foliage to camouflaged ground-dwellers hiding amidst fallen leaves. You might catch glimpses of other elusive nocturnal creatures as you witness the magical transformation of Kubah National Park to reveal its hidden treasures after sundown.
To ensure a personalized and intimate experience, our night walk froggy adventure is limited to a small group, maximum of 6. This exclusive setting allows you to fully immerse yourself in the enchanting night ambiance of the rainforest, captivate your senses, ignite your passion for the natural world and thus creating memories that will last a lifetime.

5.00A great night exploring Kubah National Park with Lucian. Even though the weather wasn't all that pleasant, we saw 10 different species of frogs and toads, lots of insects and even 2 snakes. Lucian was an excellent guide and we would highly recommend this tour

5.00Do not miss this experience. The guide, Lucian, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and just great fun. We were able to spot many different animals and 11 frog species. We would have never been able to without Lucian. It is so exciting to be in the rainforest in the dark. With just our head lamps and torch light to be able to see something in the complete darkness. The sounds surrounding you while walking are absolutely beautiful. We also booked a Fairy Cave tour with Lucian as well, and he already impressed us there too with his knowledge and wit. So do try to reach out to him to see what other experiences he can offer, because he is an amazing guide.

5.00This is an excellent tour, a great way to spend an evening. We were a family of four with two boys aged 9 and 12. It's a gentle uphill for the first half but at a very easy pace. Lucian is a great guide, very knowledgeable of the local fauna and clearly very passionate about it. He's excellent at spotting the wildlife, we've got some photos with him pointing at the frogs and they're still hard to see - not sure how he found them originally while scanning the entire jungle! Kids had a great time. Thanks Lucian! Very memorable.

5.00This was a real highlight of our trip. Lucian is very knowledgeable and passionate and we had an incredible evening spotting much wildlife with highlights including a long nosed horn frog, and a Blythe's paradise fly catcher. Absolutely recommended this trip without hesitation.

5.00I had a great experience with Lucian! As a solo traveler, I wasn't sure I'd be able to book the tour (the booking platforms require a minimum of two people to book). I ended up being able to contact Lucian directly, and he accommodated my last minute request for a next-night tour! He was organized and timely, and his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for his work were evident during our time together. I saw a wide assortment of wildlife, and I consider this tour one of the highlights of my time in Malaysia!

5.00Excellent adventure with Lucian. Very patient with me and my son. It is like a treasure hunt for the frogs, insects and even plants along the way. I have learnt alot from him. Good experience especially for city people like us.

5.00What an incredible evening. Luciano has an uncanny knack for spotting hidden creatures – frogs, spiders, stick insects, snakes, geckos – it was like being on a magical nighttime treasure hunt! If you’re visiting Sarawak… this is an absolute must-do!

5.00I quickly applied on the day of the event, but I willingly agreed to participate. Our guide, Lucien, was very friendly and helpful. I was able to see most of the species of frogs that live in Kuba thanks to my observational eye, which could spot frogs as big as a centimeter from a distance. We enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour and also we were very happy to see Aurora on our last night. Kuching's first day was this Kuba night tour, but it was a good start to the journey. Best of all, I was very impressed to meet Borneo Cat Gecko. It was so cute!!! It was a three-hour tour, but we were able to participate in it for a lot of fun. I definitely want to participate when I come to Kuching again. If you are interested in wildlife, especially frogs and snakes, we definitely recommend you to join us. P.S. They lent me the headlights I needed. Even if you are not prepared, you can participate easily. Also, although the path is a mountain road, it is basically a beautiful paved road, so it was never difficult to walk.

5.00Wonderful experience with Lucian. You can see that he is a very prepared person and above all that he loves his work and that he does it with love and passion. See the glitter of the frogs' eyes in the dark of night from meters away, even if they are tiny creatures hidden among the leaves! And also we saw lizards, a small forest topondella and several spiders... a beautiful experience to try if you are in this part of Borneo!!
