Night Kayak / GLOW tour is an award winning excursion based out of the beautiful Westin Resort, St. John. Upon arrival "get your glow on" with glow paint and photos (bring your own phone into the water at your own risk). Upon departure be amazed by the clear-bottom kayaks and glow of your kayak. Some clear water parts of the cove allow you to search for marine life below such as pre-historic tarpons and sting rays. Other parts, more murky, create a fun and spooky experience as you paddle along the shoreline. Allow your A-Team of guides to take you on a nocturnal adventure you won't soon forget! Commonly asked questions: Kayaks are 2 person kayaks. Max weight per kayak = 400lbs Max weight per person = 285lbs Minimum age is 4 years old. (Kids are the same price as adults).

5.00Bring Glow necklaces or Glow sticks if possible, as well as a head light. There seems to be s 3 Kayak limit on the water per session.

2.00The lights/batteries died on all 4 boats. Guide tried her best to replace on the fly but none left for us so fish experience reduced & then ran out of time to see coral. Seems like simple, important step of recharging batteries got missed :-(

5.00Sam was a rockstar! Let us leisurely enjoy our trip! No itinerary needed, just went where the animals were! Saw bats, tarpon and ballyhoo! A rogue ballyhoo even jumped in our kayak! Thanks for the great time Sam!!

5.00Bernard was a great tour guide and made the night so much fun! We saw so many tarpon, a sand shark, a bat and a bunch of smaller fish. Loved Bernard’s laugh!

4.00Bernard was our guide, and he did a great job. He got us stoked for what we were going to experience. This was my second time on the Night Kayak, but the other three ladies with me got to enjoy it for the first time. We saw all the good things--big tarpon swimming under the boat, balihoo jumping out of the water, and even the bull dog bat diving for fish! My only suggestion was not to push the tipping so hard in advance of the experience. We all tipped, but we did not until the end, just saying it is awkward to make the guest a little uncomfortable.
The tarpon and ballyhoo literally jumped into the boat. So awesome!

5.00Bernard was our tour guide. He was fun, engaging and gave us quite the night kayak experience. It was amazing to see all of the fish in their natural settings at night. The tarpon and ballyhoo were all over the place. Yes, they will run into your kayak and jump out of the water right beside you. Bernard warned us of this but it made the experience even that much better. And if they jump into your boat, legend has it that you'll experience good luck for the next 365 days.

5.00The tour was amazing. The tour guide, Bernard, was fun, very friendly, helpful with getting the fish out of our kayak, and informative regarding the fish seen on the tour. This excursion is a must if you are staying at the Westin in St. John’s or are in the area visiting.
