Night Safari
The world's first Night Safari*, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle, will unfold the mystery and drama of the tropical jungle after dusk with stunning effects. See a myriad of nocturnal animals, from fierce predators to timid forest dwellers, in their natural habitat under subtle moonglow lighting. With priority boarding, you won't have to wait in line to board the tram which takes you through the East and West Loop. Pass by a large reservoir and weave through selected habitats designed specifically to replicate the natural environment from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Indian Subcontinent. Let the guide take you on a walking trail to view some animals at close quarters. There will also be an opportunity to catch either the Thumbuakar performance of fire-eating skills OR a 20 minutes animal extravaganza at the Creatures of the Night Show, subject to weather conditions. You can choose to add on a buffet meal of local favourites and international cuisine in a charmingly rustic setting at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.

5.00So glad we did this. We were picked up from our hotel and connected with 4 other guests. Our driver helped us navigate the zoo helping us get the most out of the experience. I really appreciated his narration on the tram and the walk along the trail.

4.00This was a memorable experience and our tour guide made it stress free. Traffic is heavy when heading to the safari, so everything is timed accordingly. After the theatre show, we used the tram and saw more animals than expected. We were really glad we did this, but what made it extra special was how kind and considerate our guide was of my husband’s mobility challenges and many accommodations were made that made this a most enjoyable evening. Many thanks for being so thoughtful!

5.00The tour guide Jacqueline was lovely very knowledgeable very caring very helpful and by doing this tour with them I was able to jump the queue as opposed to just arriving on my own The tram ride for me was the perfect way to get a good idea of what was there and then you had the option to do one of the walking trails as well For me I did the VR experience with the Dinosaurs and for $10 it was awesome!! Highly recommend it and the whole tour

5.00Not many places offer a night tour of a zoo and, considering the many animals that are nocturnal, I was excited to see this! This is an efficient way to see a key aspect of the zoo, but it should be noted that you won't have a chance to see all of the zoo. The tour is on a moving tram and it is dark, so keep that in mind for photos - I couldn't get my iPhone to take anything accurately and realized too late I should have brought a suitable camera (remember - no flash!). After the tour, you'll have the chance to either see a show or go walk one of the many trails to spend a little extra time looking at smaller animals - or your favorites. I didn't see the show and will state that the people who opted for the show were less satisfied with the experience. I walked most of the Pangolin Trail and only saw one little armored ball of a pangolin, but many other delightful small critters. I booked it through a couple other trailers to see a leopard lounging in a tree (my only good picture) and a few others on my way to trying to spy the elusive fishing cat a few times (unsuccessful). I really enjoyed seeing so many animals I'm used to seeing asleep or hiding during the day.

1.00Don’t waste your time. A 4 hour trip with only 50 mins of activity. Poor version of a Disney park. Poor food options. Waste of an evening in Singapore

5.00Our guide, Mohan, was friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our evening from the moment we were picked up until the moment we were dropped off. He managed to get us through the queues very quickly, despite it being a very busy evening over Chinese New Year and provided us with a great commentary throughout our visit to the zoo. Very happy to recommend.

3.00They needed more animals it is a nice zoo they do alot of rescue animals and rehab. They were very educational on the explanation of the various types of species of animals.
