Go big or go home on one of the most ambitious tours Kauai has to offer—a 90-mile ocean adventure up the Napali Coast and across the Kaulakahi Channel to Lehua Crater and the “Forbidden Island” of Ni’ihau. We’ll experience Kauai’s sacred and breathtaking northwest coast and then head offshore into the deeper and more remote waters of Lehua and Ni’ihau where there are superior wildlife viewing opportunities and world-class snorkeling conditions. Snorkeling gear and instruction are provided, and our sleek and comfortable Kauai-built 65’ power catamaran is the vessel to take you and your loved ones there and back safely and in style. Breakfast, lunch, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are included in this beautiful, exciting, informative, and valuable 7-hour ocean experience that’s very likely to become the highlight of your visit to Kauai.

Passenger Policy
1. This is an adventure. Ocean conditions vary and may be rough. Participation may not be suitable for everyone; boarding of physically challenged individuals is at the captain’s discretion.
2. Not recommended for guests with back, neck, knee, hip, or other joint problems, chronic pain, recent injuries or surgeries, or severe motion sickness. No refunds for seasickness; prevention is best with over-the-counter remedies.
3. No expectant mothers.
4. Children must be 5 years or older.
5. Routes, destinations, and snorkeling are subject to change without notice due to weather and ocean conditions.
6. Cancelled tours are fully refundable or gladly rescheduled.
7. “No shows” or any cancellation within 24-hours of check-in time is subject to a 100% charge of the total fare including tax.
8. We are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
9. Mobility aids such as canes, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, etc. are not allowed on board.
10. We do not land on shore.
11. Non-swimmers are not allowed in the water.
12. Full-face snorkel masks are prohibited. Only traditional two-piece masks and snorkels may be used. For safety, please avoid snorkeling within 24 hours after arriving from a flight over 5 hours
13. If you do not have your daily or prescribed medication with you, i.e. inhalers, EpiPens, diabetic medication, you must reschedule your tour for another day.
14. No smoking of any kind, including electronic cigarettes.
15. You should bring your own towels, sunscreen, a light jacket and camera. We will provide everything else.
16. All tours are barefoot. Shoes must be removed before boarding, with orthopedic/diabetic exceptions at the captain’s discretion.
17. Per our liquor license, guests may not bring alcohol. IDs are required for age verification. Intoxicated guests will not be served and may be denied boarding. Alcohol is served only after snorkeling on applicable tours.
18. No coolers or drones/unmanned aircraft are allowed on-board.
19. Spray/aerosol sunscreens are prohibited as a safety hazard. Please use reef-friendly lotion sunscreens instead.
20. Marine toilets clog easily. Only flush human waste and the toilet paper provided.
21. Please use the designated gravel parking lot.
22. All complaints of harassment or assault, and any suspected illegal activity, will be reported to the proper authorities.
23. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet health, safety, or policy requirements.

Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park
1. Breathtaking Sightseeing—With her 4,000’ cliffs, cascading waterfalls, emerald-green valleys and secluded beaches, the Napali Coast is an absolute must-do on any Kauai vacation. And while most tours stop there, this adventure continues on to Lehua Crater (a Hawaii State Wildlife Sanctuary) and the mysterious Ni’ihau Island.

2. Excellent Snorkeling and Wildlife Viewing— The snorkeling conditions around Lehua Crater and Niihau are some of the clearest and most prolific in all of Hawaii. Going offshore to Lehua and Niihau, we increase our chances of seeing more elusive ocean species such as pilot whales and rough-toothed dolphins in addition to the spinner dolphins, green sea turtles and humpback whales (seasonally, December-April) that frequent the waters of Kauai.

5.00It was the perfect day to take this amazing snorkeling and sightseeing trip. We traveled as a multi-generational family of 4 ages 20, 51, 53 and 71 and everyone enjoyed the day. We were able to cross over to Niʻihau and then snorkel at Lehau crater. The crew said crossing the Kaulakahi Channel has been difficult recently and they've had to modify the trips. Luckily we had perfect weather and spent an hour snorkeling and enjoying the abundance of fish, saw a seal and a few snorkelers saw some baby sharks and rays. Then we were off to view the amazing cliffs of the Nā Pali Coast State Wilderness Park, breathtaking. The food was good and they had plenty of drink choices. The crew (some of the names we remember were Captain Nate, John, Mason, Jasmine) they were all great, very engaging, helpful and friendly. Our family world recommend this tour, we would all do it again.

1.00My experience was cancelled yesterday and I was moved until today. We got to the place at 5:50 am and the captain said we likely wouldn’t make it to Napali because of 15’ swells. We elected to get our money back. I had booked with an old card that was shut down weeks ago. I hope the money comes to the card that replaced the old one.

5.00Captain Nate and his crew were absolutely amazing. The all day excursion seemed to fly by with beautiful scenery everywhere. Just spectacular. We watched the sun rise, saw humpback wales breaching, snokled for a bit and then on to more beautiful views. They kept us well fed and plenty of refreshments. All of the crew were friendly and informative. Can't wait to go back and do it all again next time!

5.00Warning first: If you are prone to motion sickness, this is 7 hours on the ocean. Vomit is real. Now the trip: Magical! The crew was funny and engaging, Captain Nick kept us informed and was realistic about conditions. Snorkeling was amazing - lots of fish and a seal. On the trip out we saw whales and dolphins on the trip back. We took the trip with our 3 generation family of 9. It was an early and long day - but it was amazing! Such a beautiful way to see the coast. Gluten Free options were included. That said, it’s a small space and cross contamination could happen. Don’t forget sunscreen on your face after snorkeling. That was our mistake. 100% would recommend!

5.00Due to weather (which has been pretty wet/stormy all week - just how it is here sometimes in December!), we were not able to go to Ni’ihau. However, all was not lost! What we appreciated about HoloHolo is that they called us the day before to confirm the trip (we had already been rescheduled from earlier in the week). They explained that if there was still weather at the time of arrival (6am), the captain would do a weather briefing and if the original tour can’t happen, we would have the option to get a full refund or reschedule. We arrived at the port (6am meet up time!) and the weather was too risky to go to Ni’ihau, but the alternative route that Captain Nate offered was to circumnavigate the entire island of Kauai. This route covered the same amount of miles and time as the original tour. We decided to stick with it, and we are so glad we did! We’ve been on several other boat tours in Kauai but this was the first time we’ve seen the entire island. It was a special experience and the weather cleared beautifully as the day went on. We saw dolphins and whales and got about an hour of snorkeling. Captain Nate and Crew did a great job taking care of us, sharing Hawaiian history, and just making it a fun day. None of us can control the weather so if you have a flexible mindset, it’ll be great - you’re in good hands with HoloHolo!

4.00Last week we went on a wonderful sail up the Nepali Coast with Holo Holo charters. Captain Nate and his crew were fantastic with us. There were huge swells which made things a little rocky going north but the captain handled the catamaran fantastically. We saw a few pods of dolphins and the history and information the captain provided while we toured the coast was very good. Although we could not go over to snorkel around the Nihou island I was sad about this, but the captain said it was all about safety and it was too rough to cross the channel that day. They understood we missed this wonderful opportunity and even gave us a credit for not being able to go there. I would highly recommend them for their great crew, wonderful catamaran and the beautiful coastline they cover.

5.00Absolutely the highlight of our trip! We saw a whale, mantas, and dolphins while heading out to the area we snorkeled at. There, we saw more colorful fish than I’ve ever seen before, and another manta! It was like swimming in an aquarium! The food served on board was very, very good and the tour up the Na Pali coast was breathtaking. The information provided by Captain Nate and his crew was excellent and enjoyable. The equipment was excellent and if you need a prescription snorkel mask they can provide! I am a 59 year old sadly out of shape lady and I had a blast and nothing was beyond my abilities. I highly recommend this trip - it’s more than worth it!!!

5.00The snorkeling was absolutely AMAZING!! We had a smooth day on the water, so no issues with seasickness. The breakfast and lunch was surprisingly good. My husband and I both said this was the highlight of our trip, and we booked a LOT of adventures on this site
