Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park
1. Breathtaking Sightseeing—With her 4,000’ cliffs, cascading waterfalls, emerald-green valleys and secluded beaches, the Napali Coast is an absolute must-do on any Kauai vacation. And while most tours stop there, this adventure continues on to Lehua Crater (a Hawaii State Wildlife Sanctuary) and the mysterious Ni’ihau Island.
Niihau - The Forbidden Island
2. Excellent Snorkeling and Wildlife Viewing— The snorkeling conditions around Lehua Crater and Niihau are some of the clearest and most prolific in all of Hawaii. Going offshore to Lehua and Niihau, we increase our chances of seeing more elusive ocean species such as pilot whales and rough-toothed dolphins in addition to the spinner dolphins, green sea turtles and humpback whales (seasonally, December-April) that frequent the waters of Kauai.
6:00am Check-In: Na Pali and Ni'ihau The Forbidden Island Kauai Snorkel Cruise. Breakfast, snorkeling, lunch, and drinks included.

We took a tour to the forbidden Niihau island and Napoli Coast to snorkel with HoLo HoLo charters! The staff on board were very attentive the entire time and made us feel very comfortable! We got to snorkel with a monk seal and many colorful fish! It was AMAZING! Hats off to our new friend Jace from Minnesota! All were 5 STAR on board! Stan and Kim

Deceivingly nice office, for a very dis-organized company. Captain Glen left a LOT to be desired, from the very beginning, compared to other boat tours we've been on in Kauai. He wasn't funny, informative, entertaining, engaging, or a good DJ. The crew was only made up of 2 young girls. Instead of narrating the trip to us, the captain spent the majority of the tour, talking to the girls, as they took turns sitting upstairs with him. 30 minutes into the trip, the crew realized that a group of 5 people who were on board, were actually supposed to be on a shorter, cheaper tour. We had to turn the whole boat around & went all the way back to the dock, just to find that a fuel tanker was in the way of docking, so the stow-away group got to stay on the boat & we had to start our travels over, with windier weather. The swells made it miserable for almost everyone. Whoever wasn't throwing up, was next to/near someone that was! An hour into the tour, I had to ask for music to be turned on, and then had to ask that it be turned up so we could even hear it over the engine & wind noise. Playlist was super random & boring!...oldies, jazz & country...I had to request for island music to be played, like they do on the other tours, and only got a couple decent Hawaiian songs outta that. I'm convinced that the lack of narration & animation thru the tour, by the captain, lent to more people getting nauseous, because there wasn't a consistent distraction for their thoughts, as we dealt with the large swells. The boat was small, with a very poor design/layout. The front of the boat only accommodated about 6 people sitting, and soaked everyone. The view for everyone seated in the back of the boat, was the 2 restroom doors, which made every entry & exit very awkward! We couldn't wait for the trip to be over! We paid over $1,300 for my family of 4 to do this trip, and feel horribly ripped off! We'll NEVER book anything with Holo Holo again.

Great adventure. I do recommend having a motion sickness medication with you. It was a 'calm' day, but still pretty rough waves. Crew are friendlty, very attentive, and super about sharing information about the islands and wildlife.

I’ve been interested in doing this tour for a few years. It did not disappoint!! Such a great day! Personable, laidback crew and a really nice, clean boat. Saw so many things: eagle rays, sharks, monk seals, dolphins, and more. Highly recommend this excursion!!!

This snorkeling boat tour was so fun! We had breakfast on the boat then onward we went to Ni’Ihau to snorkel for an hour. The water was clear and so many fish! Then we went on to the Na Pali coast which was incredible. We got up close to see the coast and our captain was wonderful telling us all about the history of the coast. Our crew was so nice and they took very good care of us. We had lunch on the boat and then back to port. It’s worth the $$ the views are incredible.

Captain Nate and crew were amazing, taking us snorkeling safely at Ni'hau/Lehau Crater, and then speed jet catamaran (!) to Napali Coast with its spectacular views. Amazing snorkeling, sea life (monk seal was a highlight - but I missed the reef shark), vistas, and narration by captain. Crew was so friendly - had an absolutely great time, highly recommend.
