5.00Excellent experience when you want to give everything away for a few days. The setting is very professional: our guide Nam was always on time, speaks good English and gives useful tips. His explanations are fascinating and he is happy to tell a few personal anecdotes about his own life in Vietnam. The program is varied. In some places I might have liked to spend a little more time, but there is just a lot to be. Next time just go back and stay a bit longer:) highlights were the valley with the bird reserve (herons, storks, kingfishers, even a quack), the bike ride and the local market. The hotel was also in perfect order.

5.00Our tourguide Nam was very knowledgeable and could tell us all sorts of things about the Vietnamese culture, people and nature. We very much enjoyed the activities planned out for us, a personal highlight was the bird reserve where we saw beautiful storks, cranes and herons. The food provided in the restaurants and hotel was good, though it was clear it was a little adapted to the taste of tourists. All transport was taken care of expertly, we never felt rushed. The overall experience was very positive!

5.00We were two on this trip. Most of the trip we had for ourselves. The tour program was therefore adjusted, which worked super fine. On the trip we did a lot of bike, which is a really good way to experience the area, nature is mega nice, and you can get to places that are easier than on legs, or by car. We had a really nice guide on the trip, who really knew how to make the trip extra good. He explained well, had good humor and had great knowledge about the area, and Vietnam in general. The hotel was fine and everything seemed easy with luggage, check-in etc.

5.00It was a really beautiful experience. Our guide was really nice and good at telling about all the places we visited. He was also nice to take pictures of us, so we have some memories home. If one should mention something negative is that the places are very tourist with many people - but still worth it all.

5.00The place is magical. Do yourself a favor and stay more than one day. We spent one night in the resort and we wished we stayed longer. We were able to eat all the best spots without feeling rushed. The bike ride was the highlight for me, while my wife loved the ascent to the top of the mountain where the dragon is and the boat visit to the caves. The resort was top notch, and the food for the two lunch break breaks was super yummy. We were lucky enough to be on our own with the guide for most of the trip, as the people rep picked up on day one in Hanoi went with a different guy. Tom was the BEST guide we ever had - a true rockstar. I felt like our son was taking care of us, that was the level of dedication and attention to detail that he had for us.

5.00Brilliant trip with our guide Nam who was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. Highlights were the tam coc hike to see the dragon statue, bike ride to local markets, bird sanctuary and trang a boat tour through the limestone cliffs and caves. The accomodation was beautiful and our kids 11, 12 and 15 yrs all loved it as well. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Ninh Binh.
