We offer a complimentary 30-minute village cycle for fun. This is a self-guided, non-professional leisure activity.
If you prefer not to bike, you can enjoy a leisurely walk to take photos or relax at the restaurant while the group cycles.
For guest safety, cycling is not recommended for children under 2 years old or guests weighing over 80kg (175lb). Please inspect your bicycle before use.
Please bring a hat/umbrella, sunscreen, insect spray, comfortable hiking shoes, a camera, and small cash for personal expenses. Wear layers: lightweight shirts for summer or a jacket for winter.
While local boat rowers at Tam Coc may occasionally request tips, please note that these are entirely at your discretion and are not required.

If staying outside the Old Quarter, please meet us at the Hanoi Opera House (01 Trang Tien Street) by 7:45 AM.

5.00We booked this tour after reading all the positive reviews, so we had high expectations but it definitely exceeded them thanks to our tour guide Sunny (Vũ). He went way above and beyond to ensure everyone in our group had the best day possible. He made everyone feel welcome with his humour and affable nature, while his extensive knowledge of Việt Nam gave a real insight into the country’s rich history and culture. I would highly recommend this tour and can’t speak highly enough of Sunny, who is a credit to the tour operator.

5.00Great your with energetic Sunny, he was able to provide us with a lot of insight and also plan the trip well where we were able to avoid all the busy times at the sites. Line ups looked long when we were leaving each area. Wish the biking was longer, but it was stated in the booking they it's just a short activity. Only wish that because it was so fun. I would visit Ninh Binh again in the future just to bike some more.

5.00We had a great day out today. The tour guide, Sunny, was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot of the history of Vietnam. It was helpful so we could gain an insight into this country’s proud people and how they “bend like bamboo” in the face of adversity. We didn’t feel rushed even though a lot was packed into the one day. The activities were all fantastic. Our highlights were the bamboo boat ride with the very skilled foot rower and the bicycle ride. It was a very hot day and we were grateful for the cold bottles of water provided on board the air conditioned bus. The buffet lunch was excellent as there were enough choices for everyone. Everything was well organised and it ran very smoothly. We highly recommend this trip.

5.00Wonderful Day Trip to Ninh Binh from Hanoi! Our incredible guide Ricky treated us to a day that was filled with adventure! We started by climbing the 500+ stairs to visit the Mua Cave Dragon on top of the mountain - it was a bit strenuous but there are plenty of places to stop and catch your breath, all while taking in the beautiful views every step of the way. Later we ate a delicious buffet style lunch, enjoyed a short but sweet bike ride around rice paddies, and ended the day with a stunningly beautiful row boat tour of some of the most incredible sights and scenes in Northern Vietnam. The beautiful rock formations that rise out of the lagoons are something you will remember forever! I highly recommend this wonderful tour and Ricky as your guide.

5.00Great day. Ricky was an amazing guide, worked so hard to make sure we had a good time. The boat trip was stunning. I’d say the boat is very uncomfortable for such a long trip but that’s not the fault of the tour, they are the only boats there. The views from the top of the mountain are amazing too so if you can manage the hike then you should stick with it. We had plenty of time to get up and down so no need to rush. There are some good views on the way up for anyone who can’t do the whole trail. Lunch was amazing as well, great selection though I felt it was a bit early for lunch. I’d definitely recommend this tour though. Great value for money
