The animal welfare is one of our top priorities, as everyday of being on the oceans it is not a question of the boat, it is actually the crew and their behaviour towards these magnificent creatures, that is what really matters. The Bahriyeli also have Captains have the full extended licences to be able to go further than 3 miles from the harbour, which is extremely useful when the larger whales come past on their migration, or other species of dolphins, turtles and even sharks. Normally our Short finned Pilot whales is what is seen almost every single day, or our resident bottled nose dolphins. We cannot promise what you will see, but what we can promise and fully guarantee, whatever we see our Captain will not chase, harass or bother them, by respecting them you get so much back, and when a whale or dolphin of its own accord comes to the boat, its an amazing feeling and experience that you will never forget. A fully loaded whale and dolphin tour which concentrates on marine life.

What To Expect

Bahriyeli is a 23 meter 2 mast Turkish Gulet and invites you to an unforgettable experience on a two hour sail to visit Tenerife’s resident Pilot Whales and Dolphins in their own natural environment. During the sail you will be able to see the breath taking south coast of Tenerife, Mount Teide and also the chance of seeing many different species of whales and dolphins that are passing by on their migration route including Sperm Whales, Fin Whales, turtles, many different species of dolphins, Jelly Fish and marine Birds. On board our experienced crew will be able to identify and explain what you have seen on your cruise.

We saw both whales and dolphins. I really appreciate that the boat didn’t chase them but even so the dolphins swam right up next to us! This is one of the more affordable boat trips and yet the cost of the ticket goes towards a charity that helps marine life. Definitely recommend for the experience, quality, and morality. If you really want to get up close I recommend the kayaking but if you want a boat trip, this one is the best.

Excellent！We are lucky to saw the Daphlin，we quiet，and they were came to near by the boat。Beautiful!
Too bad that the price of tickets buy on site are 15€ and Victor sells them in addition to promotion at 20€

Very nice experience. Dolphins can be seen because they come to feed at the level of fish farms, then we saw curved fins in the distance apparently small whales.

We had booked a priori error once we arrived at the port we were told that there were no more places and we had to wait 2 hours to finally a boat with more than 100 people, a factory! The explanations are not clear!
