From skiing on our own private property to ensuring a maximum group size of just four, we aim to provide you with an authentic and unique Lapland experience that allows you to reconnect with nature. Using headlamps enhances your focus on what's directly in front of you, creating a special atmosphere as the snow glistens in the night.

Unlike most companies, we dedicate ourselves solely to skiing, giving it 100% of our attention. From the expertly maintained trails to the cozy fire pit at the end, we have designed this trip not based on what we think tourists might enjoy, but on what we genuinely love doing ourselves. Our group took this night ski tour during solar storm and we managed to see the most amazing northern lights. Kyle is a very skilled tour guide, and took many pictures for us. It was dark in the forest, but we had lamps, felt safe and well taken care of! Really once in a lifetime kind of experience. Thank you!

One of our most memorable nights in Finland! Kyle was so personable and kind. We were a group of beginners and had the best time. Highly recommend adding this to your trip, the stars and northern lights were a bonus!

If you want to experience a more authentic night in Rovaniemi (not chasing a northern light), the Arctic Fox is the best option! Kyle (the tour guide) is knowledgeable, fun, and super nice; he teaches how to ski kindly and patiently, and you can also learn Finnish culture and Finnish style of enjoying nature from him. I believe if you join this tour, it will be the most memorable night you spent in Rovaniemi, no matter if you see the northern light or not.

An incredible experience, a guide at the top. We had the chance to do a beautiful ski course in the forest and on the frozen lake and we could see aurora borealis. Everything was perfect. I recommend 100%! This is the best way to visit and discover the magic of Lapland

Our ski tour with Kyle was an unforgettable adventure, combining excitement with the peace of nature. We started by gliding through a dense, then clear forest, surrounded by silence, except for the sound of our skis on fresh snow. The path eventually opened into wide, snowy landscapes, offering breathtaking views and a true sense of freedom. Kyle was an amazing guide, always suggesting multiple itineraries suited to our level. As we reached the lake, what a surprise—it was the perfect moment to witness the northern lights dancing above, a half moon glowing, and a sky full of stars. Truly magical! We ended the night by a fire on Kyle’s private beach, enjoying sausage and blueberry juice. The warmth of the fire and the peaceful surroundings made for a perfect finish. Thanks again, Kyle, for this unforgettable moment!

We had a wonderful time with Kyle. He is a very friendly and accommodating person, he was responsive to our requests and we had a fantastic tour. The ski tour through the forest was beautiful and the weather was perfect so we could see the Northern Lights. We weren't expecting it and that's why it was an incredible experience. We sat by the fire for a long time and told each other stories. There was hot blueberry overserved and reindeer sausage. Thank you Kyle, for this unique night.

We had an truly amazing private ski expedition with Kyle, the owner of Arctic Fox Expeditions. Kyle was very attentive and caring when teaching us the way to master the skis, starting from pure beginners to being able to powder through untouched snowy landscapes. Kyle reached out before the tour to give us useful information on the activity, picked us up from the city centre and drove to his property, briefed us on the technique before starting the adventure. We skied throughout the day, seeing the sunset, arriving at the nearby lake, before circling back to the ranch wearing headlamps in the dark, where we were served homemade blueberry juice in a campfire overlooking the lake. The timing also meant we saw glimpse of the Northern Lights, as an bonus to the trip. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone who wants to experience the nature without going very far, an exciting excursion towards untouched areas. The additional drone footage Kyle provided after the tour was astonishing as well, capturing the entire forest and us in action, truly memorable!

We booked the Nocturnal Skiing Tour quite spotaneously and Kyle picked us up in Rovaniemi. After a quick explanation of the ski we started the tour in the beautiful forest and on the frozen lake. He frequently checked in on us and we could choose to take a break or continue for a longer track. Kyle explained a lot about Finnish nature, culture and his way of living. We highly recommend to do the tour at night, it was a very special and peaceful atmosphere with lots of goodies and motivation from Kyle. He really loves his job and wants you to have the time of your life, we had a blast. In the end we had some food and drinks at his fire pit and even got to say hi to two cute reindeers.

We had a great time with Kyle. We booked the tour very spontaneously and it was an absolute highlight! Both the landscape and Klyle as a person. Kyle goes to great lengths to tailor the tour to the personal wishes of the guests. If friends or family were traveling to Rovaniemi, this tour would definitely be my top recommendation.
