  We got off the ship in Roatan and walked out of the port, up the hill, and just outside the gate to meet Olga, who was our driver for the day. The instructions provided when we booked were very clear, including exactly where to go and even a map, which made everything stress-free. Olga drove us to the dive shop, and we actually arrived a bit early before they opened. She handled it immediately—offering us a lunch menu to review while she made a few quick confirmation calls. Within minutes, the boat captain arrived and opened the shop, and things got underway. Once inside, he began gathering our gear, and soon after, our dive guide arrived. He gave us a full classroom-style overview of the equipment, walking us through each piece and how to properly set everything up. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, which made us feel confident and well-prepared. We started in shallow water to practice our skills, and once everyone was comfortable, we headed out by boat to deeper water for the dive. Unfortunately, through absolutely no fault of the crew, I wasn’t able to equalize my ears. We attempted three descents, and each time the pressure became too intense. I have a previous ear injury from a dive years ago, and ultimately, I made the decision to call the dive. We spent a little time snorkeling instead, just to still enjoy the water. I do want to sincerely apologize for not remembering everyone’s names and for feeling like I may have taken up their time, but both guys were incredibly professional and reassuring. They emphasized that safety always comes first and made me feel completely supported throughout the situation. While I was personally disappointed, I had been looking forward to diving here for a very long time, the experience was still handled with such care and professionalism that it speaks volumes about this team. Afterward, they took us back to the pier where Olga was waiting with her air-conditioned car. She had already called in our lunch order, and we headed to Maz Kai, where Ivan prepared an absolutely phenomenal meal. Once we finished, Olga drove us back to the cruise port with plenty of time to spare. Even though the dive didn’t go as planned, the entire team, from Olga to the dive crew to Ivan, was beyond accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind. That alone makes me confident in saying I will absolutely be back and will book with them again.

  The dive guide was awesome and our driver from the port was excellent. Would recommend for both new and experienced divers. I dropped my phone and some personal items and the dive guide put his stuff back on and went through some nasty sludge and found the most important items!! Life saver.

  

  

  

  

  

• Unforgettable First Scuba Experience!

  This was my first time ever scuba diving, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bruce, our instructor, was absolutely amazing—helpful, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. I started to panic a little underwater because I had trouble equalizing my ears, but Bruce stayed right by my side, kept me calm, and helped me regain my confidence. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy the rest of the dive and take in the beautiful underwater world. The entire crew was friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend this dive team to anyone, especially first-timers!

  Bruce was great. I did wish we had more time for photos. We got no photos underwater or on the boat, in our gear, etc. Every time before when we've done this around the world, they've offered photos. The captain was great too, he brought us cold watermelon. The bottled water was warm, but welcome. You wouldn't think you get thirsty under water. Lockers for locking stuff up would be a good addition. But the water was warm, the fish were plentiful, Bruce was thorough, patient, and safe. We were very worried when Ken's car didn't start, but he was prepared and had a jumper battery and he was a good driver.

  We had a wonderful time! Reny was a fantastic guide and Bruce our SCUBA dive master was also amazing. The dive was the highlight of our trip!

  We are a family of 4 adults who get to scuba dive together every few years. We took a refresher course with Bruce and then took our time exploring a reef, seeing amazing coral and sea creatures. Bruce was amazing - he’s a great instructor and took really good care of us! Captain and crew were also great! Would go back in a second. We’ve had other diving experiences that were not so professional but this one was top-notch! Also had a driver, Shawna, who was so much fun and showed us/told us many things to do on Roatan.

  Jay was great, he gave me all the info I needed. No problems with equipment. He is a very patient and fun guy to be around. He gave me a great experience.
