Stephane, was our guide. He was very interesting, spoke good English, and even took us too a sandwich shop, off the beaten path, that was delicious, and not crowded! We loved the tour, and the drive thru the countryside.

Very knowledgeable guide who shared historic information and stories of soldiers not known in history books. It is a longer day so with elderly come prepared with light snacks to eat between stops and water.

Fair at best. We did get to all the places but it was often very rushed. They told you the facts but not a good story teller and English was a bit a bit of a challenge. Vehicle broke down which delayed us about an hour and made it even more rushed. I’d pick another operator for a more enjoyable experience.

On 8/29/2025 my husband and I did this tour which I had booked months before. I chose Normandy Sightseeing Tours www.normandy-sightseeing-tours.com because they offered a full day tour of D Day sites. Our itinerary would include stops at La Cambe German Cemetery, Utah Beach, Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Airborne Museum, time for lunch and/or to explore the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery. This was tour A3-US Sector. I had emailed this company for information regarding the amount of walking this tour would involve. My husband and I are both in our 80s with some mobility issues. I received a response right away that while there would be some walking involved it would be minimal. A van would take us from place to place. Sounded like it would suit us. We were picked up from our hotel at 8:30 am. Our guide/driver was Anne-Sophie. She was great. She was informative and had books with actual pictures from the D Day events to better show us how things happened. Code name-Operation Overlord. While driving to our first stop we were able to look at a large detailed map. There were around 8 of us total plus Sophie. The van was comfortable and Sophie was good driver parking as close as she could to minimize the walking we'd have to do. The weather was the one negative. It was cold, windy, and rained on and off. We had a good amount of time at each stop. When we got to Sainte-Mere-Eglise we had time on our own to explore the town, visit the Airborne Museum, and have lunch if we wanted. We also had free time at the La Cambe German Cemetery. When we arrived at our final stop-the American Cemetery we were more or less on our own after a presentation by Sophie. We were there to see the lowering of the US flag, the playing of TAPS. Very moving. Being able to walk on Utah Beach and Omaha Beach was very emotional. Especially if you have seen movies or knew the history. My dad served in WWII-navy-mainly South Pacific. My husband's dad was in the Army-mainly Europe as a MP. At the cemeteries seeing all the crosses was overwhelming. At the sites it was so peaceful that it was hard to imagine how it was all those years ago with all the action that took place. Lots of memorials. I also appreciated how much Sophie cared about my husband's situation. He wasn't feeling well and at 83 a bit shaky on his feet. When we got to Pointe du Hoc she told him that he may want to consider skipping this as it's very windy now and the paths are uneven. He agreed to wait in the van. And while the rest of us were exploring this area we had a downpour and had to take shelter in a German bunker! We were dropped off at our hotel at 6:00 pm. Cost for this tour was 260.00€/$302.46 for the both of us. It was a great experience and we learned so much more about D Day in Normandy. Our guide was thoughtful, informative, professional, and so much more. Can highly recommend this company.

Luci was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Although it was a day long it covered the salient parts of the battle areas. I would recommend this for families.

We had the best guide! His name was Laurent but he goes by Wuly. He’s a 30 French Air Force retiree who loves the strategy and meanings of the mechanics of D Day. He was funny, so smart, kind, and we had a great day. We went to Utah and Omaha beaches, St Mer Eglaise where the paratrooper got hung up in the spire (he’s still there ;) and then to the American soldiers cemetery for their afternoon Taps: flag lowering ceremony. We had time in some wonderful gift shops too! Bless the French for how well they take care of our soldiers there. It’s unbelievably beautiful and amazing.
