Pay tribute to the soldiers who fought on Normandy’s World War II beaches on this afternoon tour to Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc from Bayeux. Visit famous D-Day battlefield sites while hearing about the bloody events that happened there, and end with a guided visit of the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and its visitor center on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Numbers are limited to eight people on this small-group tour by minivan, the perfect way to get to Normandy’s out-of-the-way sites in one day.

5.00Our guide was Pauline who was new to the job as of April, 2026. She did a wonderful job sharing facts about each location. She drove safely, stopping the van to help get a bee out of the back seat. She remained calm and responded to their concerns immediately. Her rate of speech for English tourists was excellent. She enunciated words carefully and clearly making it easy to understand her. She was poised, professional and friendly. Well done! Thank you.

3.00Just ok. Seven guests stuffed in a van without air conditioning. Leader spoke broken English and was difficult to understand. Leader struggled with backing the van up.

5.00Visiting the Normandy D-day sites was both informative and considerably moving. We stopped at Pointe du Hoc first, then Omaha Beach, and finally the American cemetery for an end of day Taps service. All of it was quite overwhelming. Our tour guide, Lucy was so knowledgeable and so charming, she added a touch of professionalism and kindness that added that final touch of excellence to an afternoon that will not be forgotten.
