3.00The only memory Ill take away is feeling herded and packed the sardines in a can for 12 hours with a maximum amount of 1.5 hours of time at each memorial. Plus a guide would was informative but played unappealing music and we couldn’t hear while on the beaches!

5.00Maya, the little blonde, did a wonderful job of educating and herding a bus load of people around several sites of vital interest. She made the history of the conflict understandable and relevant to the areas we saw. It was a long day, but well worth it!!

5.00John was our tour guide and he was incredible! The knowledge that he has of history is amazing. We were kept on a schedule that allotted plenty of time to see everything and get back in a reasonable time. I would highly recommend this tour and John as your guide;)

5.00As a US history teacher, the beaches of Normandy have always been on my list to see in person. John gave a great tour and blended a depth of knowledge with solid storytelling. You don’t need to know all the details before booking this trip - John will cover the necessities and a lot more. It’s hard to put into words what it’s like seeing the craters, the beaches, the bunkers, and the American cemetery to cap the day off with the magnitude it deserves. It was a great way to spend a day outside of Paris.

3.00It was a good overview of Normandy and Omaha. Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was a long day and I would have liked to stop in some of the towns and visit some of the other points of interest so perhaps should do a private tour and stay a night or two if I come back. I would also say - pack snacks and get some coffee before you leave for the tour. It’s an early morning and we didn’t stop for two hours into the trip at a gas station with limited choices. Also this is a 3.5 hour to 4 hour ride to get there and back. A long day….
