Take a guided day trip from Paris to explore Normandy’s historic D-Day sites.
Start at Utah Beach, where American troops first landed, and learn about the strategic planning behind Operation Overlord. Walk along the battle-scarred coastline and hear stories of the soldiers who helped shape history.
Enjoy a pre-arranged Norman-style lunch in a charming port town before heading to Pointe du Hoc. Here, U.S. Army Rangers bravely scaled towering cliffs to capture a key German stronghold. The site remains much as it was, with bomb craters and bunkers overlooking the English Channel.
Next, visit Omaha Beach, where you'll have time to walk along the shore and reflect on one of the war’s fiercest battles.
The day ends at the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, where nearly 10,000 soldiers are laid to rest. Stroll through the peaceful grounds and take in the powerful tribute to their sacrifice.
This immersive tour offers a moving and unforgettable look at the events of D-Day.

Musee du Debarquement Utah Beach
You’ll join your expert guide in Paris aboard a comfortable, private coach. On the way to Normandy, learn the details of the Allied preparations for D-Day, the largest amphibious assault in history. Your guide, a fluent English-speaker, will stay with you throughout the tour to tell the story of the operation and answer questions from history buffs and curious minds. On Utah Beach, your first stop, the Allies quickly defeated the German forces. You’ll visit an extraordinary D-Day museum housed in an old German bunker on the landing beach itself. The collection here brings home both the scale and the personal sacrifice involved in the operation, with an original B-26 airplane on display along with collections of soldiers’ letters home.
Utah Beach
Utah Beach was the westernmost landing site on D-Day and played a crucial role in the success of the Allied invasion. Unlike Omaha Beach, the landings here were met with lighter resistance, allowing troops to move inland more quickly and secure vital strategic positions. Standing on Utah Beach today, with its vast stretch of sand and open coastline, gives a powerful sense of the scale of the operation and the courage of the soldiers who fought there. The site remains a deeply significant place to reflect on the challenges of D-Day and the determination that led to the liberation of Europe.

What an amazing experience at Normandy (Utah and Omaha Beaches) with our passionate and knowledgeable tour guide, John! He is literally a walking encyclopedia on all things Paris, European history, and Normandy. He also was engaging and approachable. Can’t say enough good about our day with John and these surreal and historic sites.

John was passionate about the historical events of D-Day and after. This made the tour more memorable because of it. Seeing and experiencing the sites have impacted my understanding of WW2 and the risks soldiers took all in the name of freedom.

John gave us a fantastic overview of the historical occurrences that led to D-day, and we were able to see some amazing and inspiring sites of heroism by Allied troops. John had a particularly good focus on the actions of American troopers in the war but also hit upon the roles of all of the armies involved. It was great to be able to walk on Utah Beach, see a well designsd museum, and see the cemetery for American troops. Great overall experience!

This was one of the best historical tours I’ve ever been on. Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the history of not only Normandy and D-Day, but of much of the history that led up to the battle from centuries ago. He played different songs, radio broadcasts/excerpts of speeches that added to the experience while also allowing periods of silence after long stretches of site seeing to allow for the occasional nap here and there. Despite having a long list of sites on the itinerary, Sam and the driver, Sasha, kept us on schedule with plenty of breaks for snacks while still managing the time so that we saw all the sites without feeling rushed. Could not ask for a better experience.

This was an excellent tour. Great review of the history surrounding D-Day and beautiful scenery. I recommend checking the weather for a clear day if possible. We had a lot of fog which limited our views.
