Omaha Beach
Omaha Beach was known to be the most difficult military objective when the invasion of Normandy was being planned. In order to be sure that the Allied forces took it the youngest and most foolhardy soldiers were assigned to it, most of them were American. You'll walk on the same sands as them and learn about their acts of heroism and sacrifice.
Overlord Museum - Omaha Beach
Operation Overlord was the code name given to the Allied Invasion of northwest Europe. This museum has an unequaled collection of military equipment that was used to either defend or attack the coast of Normandy. Such as a full-sized authentic Higgins boat, with its front flap down, and impressive Sherman and Panzer tanks.

5.00First time to Normandy. With the small group our guide was able to adjust location arrivals due to weather and tide so we could walk the beach. The van is able to take roads a bus can't or park places the bus can't. Great day.

5.00Bruno was an informative guide! The tour followed a great schedule of sights-very thorough & enjoyable. Bruno pointed out several landmarks we definitely would have missed. The Overlord museum a must - plan in am hour at least! Taps played at cemetery and we arrived at the perfect time to enjoy!

5.00Don’t be afraid of the 12 hour duration. The guide does a wonderful job of breaking the trip up. The drive is beautiful thru Notmandy and the activities are entertaining and informative. We loved the Cider tasting and our guide Will was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

1.00Tour guide rushed the entire trip. Itinerary said we would be back in Paris by 8 p.m. yet we were back just a little after 6 p.m. For such a long journey, those additional hours make a huge difference. When we asked for more time the guide would tell us that we only had 5 minutes. It was extremely rushed. Also, tour guide was not very knowledgeable about the history. Most of what was told to us was what was on the placards in the museum. My husband and I ended up standing next to other tour groups to hear what the other tour guides were providing for context. Disappointing tour overall. We picked this tour because it had good reviews, so it was unexpected to have the experience we did.

5.00HP (our guide) was so personable and educated. He really showed us everything you needed to know about WWII. I was with my husband and 17 year old and we all throughly enjoyed the day! We highly recommend it. Thank you HP!

5.00In the winter months be prepared for wind, rain, but less tourists at the sites. Will was our driver/tour guide and did a fantastic job, highly recommended if you can request him by name.

5.00we appreciated the tour on a Sunday one of the few companies that actually do the tour on Sundays. It was quiet on the beaches that were so beautiful and our tour guide was very acknowledge and helpful book make sure to find some rocks and some seashells on the beaches. It’s a good way to bring something home. The museums are very interesting to hear the stories of what happened and to see some of the items that was left. The tour did not disappoint worth the time and the day trip from Paris.
