  The two guides did their best to make the experience fun for everyone and took great efforts to chase the lights. However I felt less time at the bonfire with less storytelling would have been great as it was a very long night. Could have saved a bit of time at the end if less time was spent on explaining and talking.

• Fantastic lights tour

  We had a great tour with guides Bailey and Ivana and driver Viorel. Our guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic, with a lot of positive energy. They found clear skies despite not fantastic conditions, took wonderful photos, served hot drinks and biscuits, and built a fire. We got very lucky and saw a fantastic lights display. The bus was warm and comfortable. I would recommend having a large meal beforehand, because the trip was 5:20pm-1:20am and you are not allowed to eat on the bus; it was too cold to remove our gloves to eat while waiting outside for the lights.

• No lights but a fun night

  The people running the tour were fun and knowledgeable with a combination of scientific explanations of the northern lights and whimsy folk tails of the northern lights to keep us entertained while we waited. Sadly the lights evaded us but it was still a good night. The bus was warm and quiet allowing us to get some sleep on the way home

  Bailey and the team were absolutely stellar and did an excellent job with both finding a clear area for us to view the lights and keeping the night alive. They make a big effort to make the night and trip fun even if you don't see the lights. We were lucky enough to catch a few minutes of an incredible display as well. The professional photos you get afterwards are amazing also. Thanks Bailey (and good luck in Svalbard!)

  Fabulous, special, magical journey to the northern lights. We first met Bailey, Ivana and Vio at the bus stop. They were all very cheerful and happy, and gave us our reflective strips. Then we left on time, no wasting about. Bailey and the team started the tour off by introducing themselves and giving some back story about the lights and what to expect. What followed was about a 3 hour drive that took us 10 minutes from the Finnish border, where we pulled up on the side of the road, and got out. Within a few minutes we saw the lights and the excitement and photographs began. Throughout the evening, they gave us warm blackcurrant and cookies, and set up a fire to keep us warm… which we needed because it was mightily cold for standing out there. In total we were there about 3 hours, talking, listening to stories, myths, Q&A on the northern lights. But it was entirely worth it because they put on a show for us and the photos we received from the guys were glorious. 10/10. Night to remember. Would recommend. Thanks Bailey, Ivana and Vio for getting us there safely.

  Bailey, Ivana and Viorel are really enthusiastic and friendly professionals who provide a great tour , that's also excellent value for money. The Lights on my night were spectacular and having the opportunity to see that, was wholly down to their efforts. Hopefully you'll be as lucky and grateful as myself.

  We had a fantastic trip with Ivana and Bailey. They were such great guides. They created a wonderful atmosphere, kept us informed at all times and did their utmost to find the right spot. And then the Northern Lights appeared, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. We will never forget it. Afterwards, we learned a lot about the Northern Lights while gathered around the campfire. Ivana and Bailey, you were the best. Thank you so much for this experience! I can recommend it 100%.

  We were hunting aurora yesterday with our guides Ivana and Bailey and our driver Vio and it was an incredible night! The three of them are a great team and have put us in the best place to see the dancing lights. There was a fire and, in addition to exciting scientific insights, various stories about the myths and fairy tales about the aurora borealis. Thanks for this great experience, I will definitely recommend you!

  Our Northern Lights tour with Chasing Lights was just unforgettable! 🥹👉🏿👈🏿✨♥️ The whole trip was excellently organized and exceeded our expectations by far. Our bus driver Viorel drove us absolutely confidently and safely through the Arctic conditions. Added to this was his incredibly casual manner, with which he could also have easily played along with House of Money. Our two hosts Ivana and Bailey were a perfect harmonious team and provided a great atmosphere from the start. Bailey has always caused laughs with his authentic Australian humour, while Ivana has explained everything about the Northern Lights with a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm. Both were very informative, committed and super likable. The absolute highlight: They actually found a spot where we could see spectacular aurora borealis - not only green ones, but also pink ones that were dancing in the sky. A magical moment we will never forget. Also the English during the tour was very clear and easy to understand. To warm up there was a hot drink, a campfire, as well as always the possibility to warm up in the bis. A magical moment we will never forget. The English throughout the tour was very clear and easy to understand.
