Picking you up by car, we will leave the city lights far behind and go to a location with a magnificent view of the starry sky. Our guide will prepare an open fire for you where we can rest and cook Lappish sausages. As we sit in the crisp air while the fire crackles near us, your guide will tell us interesting facts, myths, stories and answer any questions you have about Finnish life and life in the north. In warm cottage we will show you a video about Northern lights and tell stories about life in Lapland
Our guides will be equipped with high quality cameras to take photos of your experience
We are happy to offer advice on aurora photography if you bring your own camera

5.00Great night with Andre at the lappish cottage. We had hot cocoa, delicious traditional sausages and marshmallows. Beautiful setting. The skies were cloudy but Andre never gave up, we saw the lights on our way back to the hotel. Andre pulled over and took great photos of us under the green glow.

5.00We were lucky twice — choosing the right date and the perfect provider 🙂 Thanks to Dima, the evening was unforgettable. A frozen lake, a fire by the shore, a cosy cottage, and great guidance, topped off with beautiful Aurora photos.

5.00Beautiful area guides were very informative. It was a small group of 7 with a max of 8 which was wonderful. Lovely evening and a place to stay warm when not outside Thanks Dimitri we found all you info re lights interesting Such a pity was cloudy but it didn’t matter the overall experience fantastic.

5.00Great experience for a family with primary school kids. One location with fire and sledging outside while waiting for the lights wired outside or if too cold in a cottage 30 meters away. Great if you can mot handle cold for long periods. Best of both worlds. Guides were lovely, hot drinks, a sausage and marshmallows to roast made it perfect for adults and children alike! Thanks.

5.00A brilliant evening, with guides who were honest and knowledgeable about their stuff I.e. the Northern Lights. Lovely old lappish cottage where we could warm up and await the phenomenon that is the Aurora Borealis. An absolutely incredible evening and the lights are awesome

5.00Great tour, we could enjoy a wonderful time by the lakeside in the forest, with a kind and knowledgeable guide explaining the aurora. Our guide Andrey was very friendly and explained many things to us. In a historic cottage, warm drinks are served, and while waiting for the aurora you can enjoy grilled sausages and marshmallows by the campfire. The atmosphere is excellent and I highly recommend this experience.

5.00The tour went smoothly and was as described. Picked up from our hotel (in Rovaniemi) on time and it took about 30 minutes to get to the cottage. The cottage overlooks a lake which was frozen and covered in snow. It was a lovely clear night but unfortunately the aurora were not out. I'm sure you would see them from this location if they were. It was handy having the cottage as it was a very cold night and its a useful place to pop into to warm up. You get a sausage and mashmallows that are prepared on an open BBQ outside. The guide was helpful and friendly. There is another tour operator next door but that didn't impact us. The guide takes some photographs that they share.
