We invite you out to our Aurora camp along with professional guides where we will have a great vantage point of the Aurora Borealis. A visit to the dog yard and the puppies is of course also included.

If you are traveling with small children/infants and require a guaranteed car seat, you must bring your own or arrange for your own transportation. We cannot guarantee the availability of child seats in our transport.
The tour is sold as a complete package with all services included. Using your own transport is optional, but the price remains the same. Activity cannot be guaranteed in case of late arrival.

We invite you to our Aurora Camp, where our professional guides will host you for the evening. Above our center, located 30 minutes away from Tromsø and the city lights, the night sky is dark and well suited for northern lights watching. While you wait for the lights to appear, your guide will give you some insight into the natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis. You can also cuddle with our 300 huskies and their puppies and learn about the dog sled racing, breeding and animal welfare on a guided tour of our kennel. Our thermal suits and boots will keep you warm in the arctic winter night! In our cozy Gamme-hut dinner will be served around an open fire. Try Bacalao, a traditional Norwegian fish dish with Portuguese roots made from regional produce (vegetarian option is available upon preliminary request) and a piece of our signature chocolate cake. While you eat, your guide will keep a close eye on the sky and inform you about any Aurora activity! After dinner there is time to watch the northern lights, take pictures and say goodbye to the dogs, before we head back to Tromsø. This tour does not include dog sledding.

5.00Such a fun time! Our guide was really informative and went out of her way to make sure everyone had a lovely time. The dogs are obviously very loved and well cared for. We had plenty of time to cuddle with both the adults and puppies, were given plenty of food and had an unreal view of the northern lights! Perfect for animal lovers!

5.00A fabulous activity for dog-lovers. Plenty of time to explore the dog yard at your leisure, with 100+ dogs to meet and fuss. The dogs appear to be relaxed and genuinely enjoy the experience too, with each having the option for quiet time in their kennel, or play with visitors on the yard. Northern lights were the icing on the cake, if you're lucky enough to have clear skies and solar activity whilst there, then this is a brilliant dark location to see them, without venturing too far from Tromsø. Food and drink was also delicious, topped off by campfire and marshmallows. Also... a huge thank you to Tom (one of the staff there) for helping my now fiancée capture images of the moment he got down on one knee, amongst the huskies and under the Northern Lights!!!

5.00I went mostly for my kids who really love dogs as we couldn't do the dog sleighing. They had a great time! The dogs are super sociable. The dinner (cod fish stew) was really nice and we even saw a mild aurora (the weather wasn't on our side). The kids had a great time slidding down the snowy slopes with mattress sledges!

5.00The husky dogs are gorgeous. I cuddled lots of them! The location is about 30 mins from the centre and it is possible to stay overnight there. It's also a good location to see Northern Lights. It was too cloudy on this night but I didn't mind as I'd seen them the night before. We watched a 10 min film about dog sledding and then we got to meet the dogs. The veggie meal option was couscous and I had hot chocolate to drink. Overall, a very nice experience.
